Knives. What do you cary?

Which knife?

That kind of implies that I only carry one.:) I carry a Spyderco Native in my left pocket, a Leatherman Juice multitool in right front pocket and either an Emerson CQC-7 or Kershaw Speedbump in right rear pocket.:D
 
Usually a Spyderco Endura or Delica/more for Self-Defense than utility, however.I also have a Kubaton on my keyring as well as a Mag-Lite Solitare.In Illinois we have pretty strict Concealed Carry Laws,so we have to look to other options for defense.A lot of people in Illinois carry in Fanny Packs with Mag out,but after talking to Illinois State Police about the legality of it(they didn't give me a real definitive answer),I figured I better not risk it.
 
For utility: Victorinox Classic

For CCSD: Al Mar Eagle

For SHTF: Ontario's USMC OKC3S bayonet (also fits on my Mossy 590A1!)

Most days a Benchmade Mini-Grip, but it does get rotated with a Delica, a full-size Ritter Grip, a Native or a SOG Xray Vision depending on what's up and where I'm going. This is clipped in right front. In left front is always a SAK Ambassador.

8 days out of 10, I carry the first one - the G10/S30V Leek. Often, I will often ALSO be wearing a neck knife - my SigTac "PitBull". Occasionally, I may ALSO wear a boot knife in the boot - either my Benchmade 140 "Nimravus" (Elishewitz M2HS model), or my CRKT /AG Russell "Sting".

And I always ALSO have on my keychain my Leatherman "P4 Squirt" M.T., which has a knife on it. In the woods or to the gun range, I will sometimes ALSO have a Gerber "Legend" M.T.

But things have changed somewhat. Now that I have my Kershaw G10/S30V "Avalanche", 1/2 serrated, I carry it almost exclusively. Although when I go someplace where I think the knife might get stolen (such as when I play hockey, my jeans are on the locker room floor), I take the Outdoor Edge pocketlite or the Gerber mini-covert applegate-fairbairn.
