It's the smallest airport in the world.....2 hangars and a night fighter.

Both the terms Redneck and Hillbilly come from Scotland. Both were used to describe those who supported various rebellions against England.

I apologize for the totally useless, yet topical, factoid.:D

I always thought a kilt would make concealed carry so very easy. They have that little man purse up front to keep you skirt from blowing up and showing your business anyway. I always thought a nice steel revolver would be the perfect weight to keep inside of it. :)

OK, I can't help myself

Q. Why do they call it a kilt?

A. (In a very thick Scottish accent) Because we kilt the last laddie who called it a skirt!

<<<< extreamly glad to be of German decent, even with all that history we didn't wear skirts and wore our guns on our hips where they belong.

just saying.

No, I'm not any kind of N*** either

Actually Curt.45 if you go back far enough you will see that the Germanic peoples in fighting the Romans mostly wore "skirts" sorry. Thats what people/men wore back then. So go get your skirt on!!:D

been wearing a kilt in one form or another for the last 15 years. I carry in the sporran when wearing my traditional plaid..either MacDuff or MacKay. When I am wearing the UK, I have close to a dozen of em...I carry in the pockets or an IWB/OWB depending on the weather and event.

I have an issue with carry and kilts though as wearing a kilt does attract a lot of attn...women love it...and men dig it because women love it...but when trying to be low key and 'grey'..a kilt is NOT the right thing to wear.

I know folks who have sewn a holster to the inside of the apron with some success...or use 'thunderwear'. I'm a fan of my regular holsters when carrying and kilting.

I love Utilikilts.

My girlfreind at the time came a hair of buying one for me at a Celtic music fair.

I also love the Lazarus Long stories.
He had a blaster strapped to his thigh under his kilt that came in handy.

I figure a glock or XD in or Sigma in a tactical thigh rig might work as well...

Of course if I was goin Kilted, I would probably opt for a five shot snubby in a sporan , myself.

I have two kilts that I made myself. They are styled on the utilikilts, but cost much less. For me it was easy to build the pockets, and reinforce the waist band to allow me to carry.
Don't knock em till you've tried em.
I have my Detonics at five o-clock IWB.

I've often wondered why no one ever suggested putting on an instructors belt with an IWB while wearing a kilt. Seems like an ideal solution to me.
