Just For Fun What Kind Of Gun do u have

First Freedom:

Yeah, and if I really owned it, I'd have to join a club, learn how to shoot, get a great benchrest setup, carry all that stuff to the car, unload it at the range, test all kinds of ammo, load it back up, get home, put it all away...man that's too much like work.

I don't know why all you guys work so hard in the name of fun. ;)

someday

i have promised myself that someday i will own an M1 Garand or an M1A. if its an M1A its gonna be a loaded one with a big ol scope sittin up top.

i also told myself that i will own an AR with a 20 inch barrel and another big ol scope sittin up top but this one will be next to impossible to get. (insert rant about gun control and liberals here)

My M4 & Beretta 87 with hunting gear

I use it for hunting, range fun, and home defence. In the 87 i only use CCI stingers. And the M4 I use M193.

I dont want to embarrass myself, but...

I'd have to say that my favorite plinking gun is my Ruger 10/22. Bone stock except for a 3-9x40 Simmons scope for 100 yd shots. For something with a bit more oompf, my Mosin Nagant 91/30. Both cheap and fun.

I purchased a carbine Kit for my Beretta U-22 NEOS,,,

I own two single-shot 22 rifles,,,
I also own two bolt-action repeaters in .22,,,
My only semi-auto in .22 LR was a Mossberg 702 plinkster.

Then just for the heck of it I purchased a carbine kit for my NEOS pistol,,,
I mounted an inexpensive red-dot scope on the carbine,,,
Now, for pure fun, it's my go-to rifle for range play.

It's plenty accurate at 50 yards,,,
So I use it for tin can hunting,,,
Or to roll sand-filled bottles.

For precision accuracy it's the worst of my rifles,,,
But for a good fun time at the range,,,
It's the best range toy I have.

It's also a great rifle for small children,,,
My friends 9 year old thinks I bought it just for her.

Right now Im enjoying my latest acquisitions.

Remington 510 Targetmaster
Remington 512 Sportmaster

One I traded a spoterized but good shooting Mosin Nagant for. The other I traded some .223 ammo for. Both are good shooters but the targetmaster has been very well taken care of and is in very nice original shape.

They both shoot mini mag very well which is awesome because I have right at 4,000rds of it

Lever action henry in 22lr loaded with subsonic remington. I keep it as my "bb" gun, and it gets used the most. Did you know that subsonic and shorts have about the same speed out of the barrel?

The same, except that it is usually loaded with CCI subsonic shorts or subsonic LR.

If you compare CCI subsonic shorts and long rifles, they are the same velocity.

The Marlin 917v has killed many squirrels. It has a 4-12x Redfield scope. Accuracy is outstanding.

Boy someone really went to the archives to dig this post up.

Bet you everyone who posted has changed favorites during the last 7-8 years.

what I have

S&W M&P .40 ( my carry)
Mossburg 500 PD weapon
Savage 22 bolt
H&R model 88 (manu. 1944)

Looking for AR style long gun

I have a LOT of firearms. My favorite for just blasting away ammo is a SGWorks converted SKS. NC star combination 3-9 with holo, lazer/ flashlight combo front hand grip, and muzzle brake. 147 gr spam can ammo. Its my only "black" rifle.

Hard to say, which is favorite.

Since it has begun to be made of unobtanium, ammo is a primary consideration. I like my Mosin Nagant and SVT40. Today they are relatively inexpensive to shoot.

Else a Russian .177 air pistol, as while projectiles cost a little, the propellant is free.

i have a lot of rifles and shotguns
topped with a lot of scopes as well a few handguns
They shoot a lot of different bullets at a lot of different animals and targets
