Just for fun, let's carry lots of guns!

Because I live in an open carry state, Mare's leg in .44mag on my left side,HI-point (you can stop laughing now.LOL) 9mm carbine in holster on R leg, Glock 21 on right side, NAA .22mag mini wheel in front L pocket, when my duster is on, add M4 with single point sling, so is hanging on my L side, then, w/same sling, Ithica featherweight model 37 w/ pistol grip slung down R side, stainless ruger speed six in .357 in under arm holster on the L side & Ruger P89 under R arm, twin citidel compact .45acp's IWB kidney carry, and a 380 L leg holster.

All jokes aside, since my accident (I had a 25' pipe schedule 160 hit me in the lower back) I always tote the mini .22mag wheelgun in my pocket for a "hey boy" gun to get whomever off of me, and the glock .45 for an assailant who needs to go down quick and hard, and the mare's leg. Folks will focus on the open carried .44 mag leg and don't see the Glock coming.

Geez, Mr. Play, where do you live? If I was worried enough to carry four guns, I'd move ... I always carry one firearm and a reload ... I know things can go wrong, but wow, all that weight, worry about having everything concealed, worry about setting off metal detectors at 100 yards ... seems like overkill (pun intended) ...

What gun and reload do you carry? I know if I just carried my 40 and a reload it would be more rounds than my 40, my 380, and my 357 with no reloads. So which set-up is "overkill"?

And again this thread is just for fun!!!

Should I have just started a 9mm vs 40 thread?

9 mm vs 40 cal? Who would even dispute the advantages of the ..... For a serious and sensible discussion, lets ask which is better: semi-auto or revolver? Or how about: what gun is best for fighting off zombies? Or my very favorite: If you could only have one gun, what would it be? Until then I will carry my 2-shot derringer as my primary, and my S&W 500 as my back-up.

I obviously don't travel in the same areas as some of you big city types. I carry ONE handgun and possibly an extra mag(2 extra means it's real bad). I have 100% confidence in my Ruger and don't feel the need to carry two.

I get so tired of hearing that argument. There are other reasons to have more than one gun--as I regularly do.

1. I can secure my gun in my vehicle and go to my Dr. or Dentist, etc. appointment and still have my 642 well hidden in my vest pocket. Or pants pocket for that matter.

2. I could arm another individual (if I trust them) in an emergency.

3. It's real handy for sticking between passenger seat and console when driving. Accessing primary weapon at 4:00 isn't very fast while seated in a vehicle.

4. In winter, when my coat is buttoned up, it goes in my heavy coat pocket where my hand is. Nobody is the wiser. It essentially becomes my primary weapon.

5. Gives me peace of mind, since a primary weapon can be lost or taken away if someone gets the drop on you.

For those of you who don't wish to carry a spare gun or two. DON'T CARRY ONE. Make your choice and sit down.

And quit saying you don't need one. That's not a statement you're qualified to make. Neither you nor I know what the future holds in that regard.

You're betting that you won't need one. Good for you. Good luck. Odds are in your favor.

Well in my state open carry is legal so it doesn't matter if you print. I know guys who carry 3 guns. (3 CC or 1 OC and 2 CC)

But I can't see more than 3 thats silly. I can see a backup for your backup(3 total) but 4 is silly/crazy IMO.

I could get 10 guns on me in the winter, all pocket guys, jacket pockets, pants etc... Really what guns are we talking about, pea shooters, full size, compact etc..
