Just for fun, let's carry lots of guns!

If you're not carrying at least five full-size handguns, 3 compacts, and a brace of derringers plus at least 100 rounds for each gun, plus a nine knives, pepper spray, a tazer, a large and small ASP tactical baton, and a piano wire garrot, you're just not serious about protecting your life. And, in fact, you must have a deathwish.

ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER ISAAC HAYES' CHARACTER IN "I'M GONNA GIT YOU SUCKA"?

"Hey brother! Think you got enough?"
"You can never have enough."

Just one for me, thanks.
I'm too old to carry all that extra weight around (my back hurts enough already) and if I had to, I couldn't run very fast/far carrying a bunch of extra stuff.

Pff, without an SMG and a riot shotgun, you are totally outgunned.

Haven't you seen this?

I try to carry just one myself - I am sometimes in an area that has some very large mud puddles and if I fall in, the extra weight might cause me to drown. As far as the number of rounds, I used to just carry a 10 pound Parrott Rifle - one shot was all that was needed . . . but I got tired of having to drag the durn thing behind me. :D

A serious question thought for those of you that do carry 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever - which is your right and choice - not knocing it at all. I am curious though . . . for those of you that do . . . if you ran into a situation where you have to defend yourself . . . how do you know which one and in what order to draw them???

Reminds me of the movie "The Outlaw Josey Wales" How many did he carry five or six? Just stay away from swift rivers and deep puddles!

I have carried 3 guns at a time once (more as a joke) I typically only carry 1 and 1 speed loader but when my Job forces me to go to bad areas, I will carry 2 guns.

if you wanted to go all out you could possibly carry lots of guns if you have a trench coat or a duster.

Even with normal clothing you could likkly go to 10-12 if you went all out.
you could add more if you have coats or boots.

2 pocket guns
2 guns in a double shoulder holster
2 guns in ankle holsters.
2 guns on your hip
2 guns on the center of back
1 gun in your thunder wear

just don't fall in to deep water.

Speaking for myself...

The pocket pistol is used in 2 circumstances:

1) My hand is already in my pocket when something goes down
2) I have either expended all ammo for the primary, it has jammed, or I've lost it

The gun on my hip is "primary": if something were to happen, I would be reaching for it (pocket pistol is in weakside pocket)

The pistol in my colors basically lives there: means I have a gun on me as soon as I grab 'em, if I have to go on a call-out. Also means that I can access a weapon without having to unzip my riding jacket

I think everyone should carry ALL of their guns ALL of the time. That way you don't need a safe and you never have to worry about your guns being stolen when you are not home. It would also help build up your muscles by having to haul around all of that weight. And if the zombie hordes suddenly appear, you can arm an entire crowd and triumph!

Most times I carry nothing at all.

It is in a holster on the belt, not in my hand......

It is a 88 magnum, "It shoots through schools."

I believe John Bianchi holds the record,,,

I did a bit of googling and found this:

In the July 1993 issue of the infamous gunrag 'Guns & Ammo', John Bianchi was featured in an article on hideout holsters by Bill O'Brien.

As dressed in 007-ish attire, he was concealing 32 guns total.

I remember reading this in several places,,,
He would be speaking at some LE venue and start revealing the guns.

I do remember a poster as well,,,
A bit more googling and I found this.

The poster I was thinking of was a part of an ad campaign for Bianchi International, in 1983. It involved John Bianchi in a tux, wearing 27 guns. The guns weighed 34 pounds, total.

In the July 1993 issue of Guns & Ammo, he repeated the performance, this time with 32 guns, weighing 49 pounds total.

Well I guess I could go with:

1. HK USP Tactical .45 on my right hip
2. Beretta 92 in a Galco Miami Classic shoulder holster
3. Walther PPKS SOB
4. North American Arms .22 mini revolver in my front pocket
5. Kel-tec .32 in an ankle holster
6. Is the .410 S&W Governor in a cross draw too much? Nah.

But if weather is permitting and I can wear my trench coat I have a concealable shoulder rig for my pistol-grip Mossberg 500 12 gauge!

I just hope I don't fall in a lake.

Or walk on any soft ground... ;)

Actually, back in my sailor days, I talked the SEALs aboard into trying an experiment...

Had me slung with 2 MP5s, 2 M16/M203s, and had seven different sidearms taped to me in various places. I think I made it 3 steps before asking them to take it all off me...

NO MORE!!!!

Ruck & gear ~ 80 lbs
M16 & ammo ~13 lbs
M2 barrel straped to the top of my ruck ~ 20 lbs
M2 Reciever on top of that ~ 57 lbs
M2 Tripod tied somwhere? ~ 20 lbs
Total = 190 lbs uphill in a sandstorm (just for dramatic effect)

A buddy to lighten the load ~ Pricless!!!

Hmmm....OK, I'll play.

Mine would be my usual Kimber UCDP primary, OWB @ 3:30 and P32 BUG in rt rear pocket. Add to that a custom Colt Mark IV OWB cross-draw at 10:00, a HKUSP45C, IWB SOB. Round it out with a leather duster covering a PLR-16 with full 30 round mag around neck by single-point sling, a Glock 29 in right front pocket, and Glock 26 in left pocket. Could be done, but race riots would have to be at my doorstep rather than a few miles north like before.....

I once had to carry an M60E3, a chopped Rem 870, an M9 pistol and about three hundred rounds of various rounds for all and a couple of fragmentation grenades, a couple of smoke grenades, canteens, ass pack, etc. Whew!

But, in the spirit of fun, I'd say my SR9C IWB, two spare 17 round mags on my weak side, a S&W snubby in an ankle holster and a pocket .380, say an LCP or Sig P238. Nope....couldn't do it!

I live close enough to walk to a private gun club where I am a range officer.

I often do carry three guns and sometimes four. The main CCW. a small back up and a third (for plinkin'). Also pack extra ammo to shoot for at least two of the guns.
