It's my birthday and I'm considering a 9mm carbine,,,

Buds is fast!,,,

I ordered it Saturday at 7:38 TFL time,,,
I picked it up at my LGS today on my lunch break.

The only glitch is they sent me one with that new tactical stock,,,
Instead of the "Planet of the Apes" old style stock.

I called them and they apologized profusely,,,
But they had ran out of the older versions.

It's all good though,,,
The tactical stock is much nicer than the pictures portrayed.

Tonight I'll clean and degrease it,,,
Tomorrow I'll run a box or two of Federal FMJ through it.

Cross your fingers guys,,,
Here's hoping I got a good one. ;)

What price on the rugers?

I love my PC9, best 9mm carbine ever made imho. They're getting a bit pricey, and most people that own them don't give them up. Only about 20 thousand of them made, IIRC, mainly for the LE market.

You could run over this carbine with a tank, and it would still function. Rugged as hell.

$439.95, $10.00 for handpick...
Used, "very good" condition. Most of them probably spent their lives in the trunk of a cruiser as is typical of these LE trade-ins.

Ruger discontinuned them a few years ago due to lack of demand. What did they sell for, new?

That's a very good price... they won't be there long.

Not sure what thay cost new before theu were discontinued in 2006, maybe $300-$350

I'm x10 on the Keltec S2K.....I had the HiPoint carbine (with the Storm stock) looked allright was damn heavy though, never had any issues with it but just wasn't a gun that I loved, got rid of it some years back.....

I just love the S2k and am loving the upgrades I'm finding as well  ...when I'm done with it will be close to the cost of a Beretta Storm :D
