Is terrorism Ok? (If the US is doing it?)

Anyone can make an EFP. There's nothing sophisticated about them. Flip through a copy of the Improvised Munitions Black Book (originally published for US Special Forces) and you'll see just how easy they are to make. All you need is an explosive and a container with the appropriate shape in order to direct the force of the explosion. So there's no reason to assume that EFPs being encountered in Iraq must have been made under the auspices of the Iranian government.

You may want to read more about the differences between simple shaped charges and the current generation of explosively formed projectiles. "Scientists use design models and shock physics codes to predict terminal shape of projectiles" does not sound like something you can whip together in your garage.

The reason is that these (and many other such countries) do not have a habit of making enemies.

Sorry, but it is not some idyllic matter of the Swiss, or Finns, or others being such nice folks. The bottom line is that they are insignificant in most matters and would have a hard time making many enemies. For instance, can you think of many ways for Finland to seriously aggravate Peru or Thailand?

Well Iran is making nukes, and has claimed it will blow Israel and the West off the globe. The US has not.

Replace Iran with the US in that statement. I'd be ok with Iran doing it then.

The original thread listed the CIA as printing counterfeit money, and distributing it in Iran. I'm truly surprised that nobody has mentioned the fact that "Superbills" from Iran, using presses captured there from the Shah, have been an ongoing problem in America for the past decade. Iran prints them, then smuggles them into America, in an attempt to destabilize the United States monetary system.

Before this went all tin-foil, that should have been addressed. Is it then OK for Iran to do this, but wrong for the US to respond in kind?

There are 300 million people in the United States. You'll find SOMEONE who advocates anything that you can think of. Believing that this represents America is truly a tin-foilers wet dream. There's no wonder why Reynolds is getting rich.
