Is anyone torn about selling AR's after the CT tragedy?

It's a shame a gun owner wasen't around when that fruit cake was shooting his way into the school. Maby we wouldent be having this conversation now.

i have no problem owning my semi-auto AR-15 rifles. None of my AR-15 guns have ever killed anyone.

The massacre of innocent children is an awful thing. It was especially awful when the US government burned innocent kids to death at Waco.

I believe in freedom. You should be free to do with your ARs as you wish. I think it a mistake for the OP to feel guilty about a terrible tragedy of which he had nothing to do with. Where I get upset is when the government decides to punish all law abiding gun owners because of the sins of a few. The gun control steps that governments are taking to supposedly prevent future tragedies and/or lower the gun homicide rate will do neither. For the gun grabbing politicians, what happened in Connecticut was a tragedy, but it was also a huge opportunity to implement their long hoped for gun control policies. The truth is, that politicians, like Bloomberg, Obama, Shumer etc. have been hoping for this moment for a very long time. The Second Amendment be damned. I will keep my "evil assault rifles" as long as I can.

Ya'll can ramble all about "freedom" all day long while clinging to your EBRs to take on the Black Helicopters.

Me, I've made a killing unloading high-cap magazines, EBRs and such at obscene prices to all the paranoid people out there.

This gun ban stuff is going nowhere. I say sell off all your unnecessary high-cap mags and EBRs at profit, and then when the feeding frenzy cools off, go buy something really nice with the $$$ you made now.

I'm thinking an Uzi or M16 to go with my MAC-10......

To get emotional about an AR because of Sandy Hook is ridiculous. An inanimate object is purely that: An inanimate object. A rifle is a tool. That a tool is misused is commonplace.

Would you be saddened when looking at your hunting knife upon learning that Richard Speck used one to murder seven nurses?

Would you be saddened when looking at your axe upon learning that the most serious mass murder in Travis County, Texas--before Charles Whitman--was done with an axe? 13 people were murdered in one night.

Would you switch to a diesel truck because a guy poured gasoline into a night club in New York City, lit it, and then over 80 people died?

When a nutzoid does an evil deed, blame the nutzoid, not his implement.
