Taurus Total Ti .357magnum....
I bought a NIB Taurus Total Ti 5 shot snub Protector in .357magnum in 2004.
It was on sale & I toted it briefly on a security post in NW Florida.
The Protector's weight unloaded was around 14oz if I recall. I added a CT lasergrip.
Concealed, I used .38spl +P mostly.
This new Taurus revolver seems flawed for a # of reasons.
The ejector rod seems rather short(not practical). Extended rods seemed to be a marketing point for Taurus snubs in the 1990s/2000s,
.
As posted, 9oz seems very light for defense/carry rounds too.
Extended range shooting or training may wear your hands out after a few 100 rounds.
The clear plastic frame seems kitschy too.
I'd be satisfied knowing the gun functions when I see the bad guys fall over, not when I see the hammer moving back & forth,
.
This
View revolver doesn't lend itself to fast reloading. A big - for a defense weapon in my opine. I guess you could buy a few of these Taurus snubs & just chuck them at your attacker(s) when they are unloaded.
