Inexpensive car/truck gun

If you call people hypocrats - they probably will tell you that the spell checker is not strong in you.

Can we have some spelling touch up here?

In my area, used Ruger P95's, Romanian Tokarevs, CZ-82's, CZ-70's, and occasionally Walter P1's or Bulgarian Makarovs can be found for $300 or less.

Honestly though, if you've already got a CZ-82, why not just use that? While I can certainly understand wanting to have a gun in your car on your way to and from work, I've never been keen on the idea of leaving a firearm in a vehicle all the time so, were I you, I'd be bringing the gun into the house when I get home from work.

Apparently my ability to convey humor is even worse. :(

I'm tempted to use the CZ 82, but my wife likes it too much and wouldn't appreciate me taking it on a daily basis.

As someone who is always looking for an excuse to buy another gun, I think that is a great one!!!:D:D:D

His & Hers CZ's....How sweet!

Actually I'm surprised nobody mentioned it yet, but a cheap used Glock (like an older 2nd or 3rd gen) would also make a good choice. I suspect the pistol may sit in an environment that varies from feezing cold to blistering hot, be subjected to moist air from the heater/AC, and probably not removed from the vehicle and cleaned often. I consider the inside of a vehicle to be an extreme environment so a Glock would probably be one of the best choices available.

i hate to be a smart alect but isnt your lifes work> home, car, truck, boat, race car, etc worth more than the cheapest gun you can buy? bobn

When I'm travlin I carry a normal self defense firearm one of a dozen ...one that is proven ,and capable.....the Cobra 45acp works well feeds well and shoots well.....its inexpensive ..its my knock about gun..one i have in my seat in my truck or in the dash..or the one on my side when doing yard work ..etc...

I would not carry my SIG ..or one of my custom revolvers etc....while I'm beatin around the house piling brush, trimming hedges, washing down the carport....but I have a couple of guns that I will carry.....The 200.00 Cobra 45 acp being one of them....

Been keeping a 15-year-old Taurus 85 blued steel .38 in my glovebox for years ... accurate, reliable, always goes bang ... it's there for times when I'm going somewhere I can't (or won't) carry, like a bar ... cheap as dirt ...
