Immigration/Amnesty Bill - Merged Threads

Immigration Amnesty: Capitol VoiceMail Full!

Argh!

I called both McCain and Kyl's Capitol offices and nobody answered. Voice mail was full.

How the heck do I get my "x" in the "no support" column for their bean counters?

Not that they care, but I want to make sure my voice is heard, dang it.

Senator Kyl:

I strongly oppose your Amnesty bill.

I demand more accountability from my legislative delegates. Your sham to attempt to railroad this legislation as fast as possible is a blatant attempt to bypass hearing the will of the American People. I am greatly disappointed in your conduct in this matter... it is not the conduct of a statesman.

I urge you to bury this legislation. Replace it with sensible legislation that brings respect to law-abiding immigrants. The immigrants who play by our rules already. The immigrants being hurt by the convoys of human cattle coming from the porous southern border, surplanting their rightful place in line.

Send these law-breaking border crossers back home and seal the border before you do one thing to appease the latino demographic.

I will be watching your actions very closely in regards to this legislation. It WILL be affecting my vote in the future. I will also be increasing the amount of time I spend on the border with the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps as a result of your feeding of comfort to the waves of illegals who see this as an opportunistic time to take advantage of America's weakness.

Attentively Watching,

The globalists that run the U.S. government are getting desperate in my estimation. They're trying to ram this "compromise" amnesty through as fast as they can because they know it's dead if it sees the light of day.

I just heard on CNN radio news that they're trying to ram it through the senate THIS WEEK! They're trying to ram it through so fast that several career politicians in the senate are even surprised. Several senators are sounding like even THEY are surprised by the swiftness and the seriousness of what's going on. Rarely do even THEY see the establishment push something this big this fast.

Illegal: "We're not leaving"
US: "Well you didn't have a problem leaving (Whatever country said illegal came from). So what's the difference?"

From the article:

"Persuading workers like Gimenez that is in their interests to leave appears to be one of the biggest challenges facing US authorities, as they try to bring the country's 12-million strong illegal labor force out of the shadows."

No kidding.

Either the authorities think the illegals are stupid, or they think that Americans are stupid enough to believe that this a a good-faith effort to solve the problem.

It sounds remarkably similar to a story we once heard here in California: "Just register your 'assault weapon' and we'll allow you to keep it." I understand several people *did* register their rifles. Dumb $%^s

I wrote all my Congress Critters and stated my opposition. It's unfair to anyone who is lawfully waiting for their visas and rewards those who snuck in. Write now!

How come our polititions don't understand that the "LAST" amensty did'ent work! I do understand that our spineless politions are in the pockets of the greedy corporate bastards who are selling the American people out. They are importing poverty by the thousands. We are setting ourselves up for major problems. Rome is burning and just like Rome we will fall from within! This is no longer a country for the people by the people. It's for the corporate bastards buy the corporate bastards.

"Are their no men in Washington or are they all cowards?"

That's a good question.

Anyway my $0.02:
Why is our government in the state it's in? I have just completed a course in Christianity and Western Culture and we covered Locke and his "Social Contract" which was use din the Declaration of Independence. he actually stated that there is little to tie a worker to a government if there is no incentive to do so. If the incentive is money, someone who offers a better deal will get the loyalty. The government should rather be for the provision of public domain that cannot be funded provately. This means roads and utilities and other things like this. The government, locke stated, was to be controlled by the people not controlling of the people. (meaning that people should rely on themselves for prosperity with the government taking a back seat).

This country has been in a downward spiral since the 60's(my opinion) in terms of government, public schools, corporations desire for huge profits verses comfortable living profits. This is not a then verses now gripe however my view as to what I have been witness to over 60+ years. I have great concern that greed will in time destroy this country, we continue to outsource, ship manufacturing to the third world, we import more and more under educated third world labor while over 50% of our minority students drop out of high school, countries like China are buying us and in time will own the country without a shot being fired, through our ignorance or greed makes no difference the outcome is the same. Time to drop the cell phones, turn off the TV and get involved daily in what is going on, I do not have a clue if calling /writing your Representative does makes a difference but I continue to try.

Either the authorities think the illegals are stupid, or they think that Americans are stupid enough to believe that this a a good-faith effort to solve the problem.

Agreed. No one that I know of, pro-illegal or not, thinks there will be lines forming to return to Mexico and then return to fit the requirements. The sponsors of the bill know that at some time they will have to re-adjust and say "well maybe we can't have people return and then come back in...so we will allow them to stay under new rules".

Remember the old commercial that said show me the beef? Well, show me the line of illegals going back to Mexico to meet the requirements of this new bill.

Congress wants you to foot another $89,000,000,000 in spending a year for these illegal aliens. Think about all the low wage programs these illegal aliens apply for once they get amnesty. With that and the spending we did in Iraq we cut have put a dent in the Social Security Problem.
