If you could pick 2 of these Glocks...

So if the 26 or 19 is your smallest gun or whatever similar sized gun you carry, how do you guys carry when you are not wearing a belt? Often I dress to wear my gun, but sometimes I am wearing gym shorts, and either need to take my dog out, or run to the store, and don't want to have to change clothes.

I own a 26. Nice gun but kind of big for my daily carry. I find light weight a snobby revolver easier to carry on a daily basis. But that is me.

That would be what, a Korth? :)

If I'm not wearing a belt I'll do 1 of 2 things. If it is a short trip, like taking the dog out, I'll use a holster with a clip (I like my Wild Bill Covert Carry) and tie the drawstrings tight. I can usually get my 19/30S, phone, and spare mag in my shorts without them falling down.

If it is longer I use a Galco Underwraps belly band for gun and mag, and it works great, comfortable, and concealable.

I see a lot of this type of thinking anymore these days, and I think its flawed. When did "size" become the determining factor of what you can carry?

If youre willing to dress around the gun, you can pretty much carry anything, and it really doesnt take much work to dress around a full size gun. Simply a little common sense, and nothing out of the ordinary.

I was away a couple of days, and Mr. Bomb replied nicely. All handguns are compromises. My primary carry is a G26 carried IWB. When a person can't wear a cover garment or, in my case, when I have to change outer garments in a semi-public setting, something has to give. I had to go to a tuck holster or a pocket pistol. I tried both and liked the pocket pistol better.

That is just one example of a variety of situations that require some adjustment. Dressing around the gun is usually best, but usually and always just aren't synonyms.

'@Rectifier - I hate you.
BFG G26 is on my bucket list. Where'd you get the camo slide done?'

I bought it last year at Huron Valley Guns in Milford,Mich. It was part of a cosignment sale & it was minty, price was right.

The Glock 19 and Glock 26

Anything smaller and I go with my Ruger LC9s Pro over the G43, especially since there's no magazine compatibility with either single stack. Of course nothing terribly wrong with the G43 but I don't want one.

You seemed to have already picked the G34 so my carry gun suggestion would be the G26, easy to carry winter and summer. I have a 26, 19, 34, 43 and value them in that order. Of course there ain't a damm thing with 40's neither. How horrible the world would be if they only made one model. lol

Well seeing as the only glocks I have are a glock 19 and a glock 34... But for your intended purposes I would say a smith and wesson shield, oops meant to say glock 43, and the 19.

Actually, I currently have the 42 and 26, but would love to swap that 42 for a 34 if I could figure out a way to always carry my 26. Also considering selling my 42 to fund a 43 to upgrade to 9mm, but I am not sure how easy the 43 will pocket carry. More worried about the weight than the size, and I don't think any gun stores are going to load one up for me to try out in my pocket.

I mainly listed the 19 because that equates to the 26 for me. Should have listed the 17 as well because that would be the 34 for me, except it is possible to carry the 17.

So I'd love to have a 42/43, 26 and 34, but right now I am only able to have 2 of the 3.

Also, I used to hate both Glocks and the 9mm :)
