If you could only own two guns?

The two I chose were the best I thought would work for the situation, a good Concealed Carry Weapon, to defend myself, and the Thompson Contender, that way I could use the one action for my .22 Rimfire, CenterFire Rifle, Muzzle Loader, and Shotgun needs. :D:D:D:D:D

Sticking with the rifle theme I' go with my Mossberg 500a and an AR in 308 . I have an AR in 5.56 but if its only two guns then you better go with the big dog

The Thread is entitled Two Guns, not rifles, now if it was only Two Rifles, It would be wise to get a Rimfire, and a Center Fire.

My choice would be my Remington 870 Express Super Mag 12ga. and my sporterized Remington Springfield 30-06. Those two would cover just about everything in North America from squirrel to moose to bad guys.

The 12ga was the first gun my wife bought me back in 98 and the 30-06 topped with a Burris scope and shooting my handloads is an extremely accurate rifle. Whoever had it before me put a beautiful maple stock on it that I recently had refinished.

Yea I think your right . So I change my picks to TC Encore with a barrel in every cal, they make . and a Glock 21 . Woo Hoo im a cheating fool .

That question just makes my heart ache. I'd have to have my S&W 686+, but I'd also have to have my Mossberg 550, but I'd also have to have my Glock 19, and my 10/22, and ....it's not a fair question! :) Fortunately, we live in the best country in the world--and we don't HAVE to choose!

OK, so I know it's not probably logical, but I'd take my 686+ and my AR-15

With present ammo and reloading costs being a factor:
my M-1 Garand (from the CMP) and the SKS. I would cheat and still have the ancient 1940's Savage .22!

If ammo coast were not a factor: the Garand and one of my Enfield #4/Mk.1s.

The FN-49 might be a nice replacement for one of these, based on glowing reports, but there are ammo cost or corrosive (8mm Mauser) cleaning issues.

In this dream world, a reminton 870 and my 44 mag Henry rife. in the shotgun small game and some deer sized citters and home defence; the rifle, bigger game and home defence at a distance.

Saiga AK-47 simple because its a brand new manufactured AK and the lack of maintenance it requires. Then I would have to go with a Saiga 12 Gauge only because you can have the 20 round drum magazines. I would gladly take my Remington 870, 7 rounds vs 20. I'm going for the 20 round drum.

TWO GUNS.

RUGER MKII GOVERNMENT MODEL .22LR pistol; set up for a scope when needed or wanted.

AR-15 with extra uppers/mags in .223 Wylde; .450 Bushmaster and .50 BMG.

:D

Hypothetically if I could only have 2 rifles, they would be:

1. AR15 (Noveske or Colt)
2. Barrett 50cal semi-auto

one for close-medium range work, and the other for everything else :D
