If you could only keep 2 of 3 revolvers...

n I don't look at firearms as an investment or collecting for the sake of collecting.

My three revolvers pick are all DWrevolvers and I have them A DW .22lr , 357mag and 44 mag all with several barrel lengths to pick from.

Smith and Wesson 617 with red dot sight.
Ruger security six stainless .357 mag.
Since that all the revolvers I own it's a easy choice.:D

Thanks to everyone for the valuable advice. I decided to keep the three revolvers. They will be passed down to my sons when they are ready to manage the responsibilities related to legal gun ownership.

Thanks again. It is great to have access to recommendations from so many experienced gun collectors.

Dump the Ruger. It and the 686 are redundant, and the Smith is a nicer gun. .410 aside, the Governor gives you lots of choices of .45 should ammo be tough to find again.

No love for the .gov?

I understand why. Neither fish nor fowl. Other than a curiosity I cannot fathom why anybody would want one.

If you were forced to keep just 2 of 3 revolvers, which ones would you keep?

These are the options (all in excellent condition):

- Smith & Wesson 686 Stainless Steel 4" barrel - pre-lock model
- Smith and Wesson Governor w/ Hogue grip
- Ruger Security Six Stainless Steel 4" barrel with original target wood grip - tack driver

This is a joke, right?

Sell the Taurus Judge clone Governor.
