How about a Colt Single action in Herters 401 powermag? or perhaps in a new Colt proprietary chambering based upon shortened 30-30 winchester cases.
You're in luck -- Colt used to make one. It was called the Double Eagle, and the shop at the range where I shoot just happens to have one for sale even as I type.BobaSeth said:but not any handgun that already exists. What have you always wished they would make, and why?
I wish I could have a 9mm DA/SA 1911
KorthId love to add a German revolver to my collection but other than vintage Mausers, I dont believe that any exist

An airweight S&W J-frame sized revolver with 4" barrel!
I would like to see a Ruger lever action rifle with 16" barrel in .38/.357
1911 because I LOVE the way they feel, the way they shoot, and the way the look.
DA/SA because no matter how much I train with one, when I draw I can NOT get my thumb where it needs to be without readjusting my grip.
By jove, I actually recall one I read about a long time ago!If you could have any handgun....

I'd say the S&W 39 series came close (particularly the 539), but had the slide safety.but not any handgun that already exists. What have you always wished they would make, and why?

9mm because of the ammo cost and reduced recoil

I know MILLIONS of shooters don't have a problem with the thumb safety, and on the range I don't either, but when drawing, it just doesn't happen for me.
So, what would YOU want to see produced???
