I want a 223 bolt rifle

The newer C-Z 527 Varmint with the faster-twist barrel should fill your needs nicely. I have a CZ V in .204 and it's the most accurate off-the-rack rifle I own. (There's a thought - a .204 instead - but that wasn't your question.)
FWIW: Best bargain out there, through the end of June is the Savage 12 FV sold through Cabela's: a bare-bones HB, blind-box shooter with a $100 rebate.

I'd prefer a .222 mag if still available. I had a wildcat based on that case with sharper shoulders and usually shot 55 gr. bullets.

rebs - did you take the plunge?

Had my Kimber out over the weekend. It shoots lights out with my 40 grain ballistic tip load.

Here's a six shot group at just over 200 yards.

"As with any hunting situation needing more than a single shot that shooter has plainly over extended his shooting capability"

I don't agree with this at all. Many time I have been able to make multiple kills with a quick rack of the bolt that I could not have done with a single shot.
