I snoozed,,, I lost,,,,,

I am glad you clarified the qualifications for "a Poor but Honest" college student at OSU.
(being from Oklahoma)

I know there could NOT be a qualified candidate at Ohio State University !!;)

And I sorta doubt, but don't know for sure, that Oregon State could supply a candidate either ! :D

Great name,,,
Are you a Firefly fan?
Yes and she WAS named after my favorite mechanic.

And people thought I was weird for naming my dog River. I keep trying to talk the wife into naming out first born Mal...not going well so far:rolleyes:

I used to be a poor college student, I've since graduated, but am still poor - does that count?:p

Hello Mayor Al,,,

I know there could NOT be a qualified candidate at Ohio State University !!

Actually, I sent a new shooter to Ohio State University back in 2002,,,
She was a Master's student here, while I was an undergrad.

We worked together in a student computer lab,,,
She asked me about a pistol one day,,,
And that started a long friendship.

She started out barely able to hit the ground with a Colt Frontier Scout,,,
By the time she graduated and went to Ohio for her Doctorate,,,
She owned two pistols of her own and was quite proficient,,,
A Ruger Mk-II and a Ruger P-95.

It's not that I recruit new shooters,,,
I simply say that I'm going shooting this weekend,,,
And ask if anyone would like to join me for some good range fun.

Works with the kids I work with,,,
And the kids who work at my watering hole.

Once the young ladies determined I really am harmless,,,
They started to line up for shooting sessions.

Life is Good! :D

But just to prove it's not a gender specific thing,,,
Here's a picture of Mike reading the letter I wrote to him,,,
It details why I am giving him a Ruger 22/45 MK-III as a graduation gift.
