I snoozed,,, I lost,,,,,

And it is the luck of the draw.

I bought one of those little single-action, Italian-made .22s maybe twenty-five years ago and it's a great little shooter.

Accurate as I could want it to be and actually very well made.

Better quality than some of the newer low-end revolvers.

Keep looking.

Ya never know what someone's going to take to the pawn shop.

" Hey, Little Boy, Want some candy? Take a look in the back of my truck ! " hehehehe

Sometimes, what goes around, comes around.

It's not going to come for $150.00, but we can talk.... P M me if interested.

Aarond, sometimes when you say stuff about giving guns to friends it makes me wish I was a friend of yours.... Lol.

What does it take to become one of your friends that is gifted guns? Ha!

My wife knows now what to tell me if I get into the car and say something like, "They've got exactly what I want, at a decent price, but I just don't know." She always says, "You know what always happens, if you wait, you won't be able to get it tomorrow for whatever reason." She's so sick of hearing what I should have done over the last 37 years that she reminds me now.;)

I think that has happen to me several times....I recently lost out on a Astra 357 Mag .. beautiful bluing the gun was as NIB...3 inch barrel built on a N size frame...could have got it for 170.00 but I wanted to think about it....it sold the next morning

And at the same LGS I looked at a Ruger Blackhawk SS 357 mag.. absolutely beautiful ..a fellow next to waited for me to hand it back to the store owner and when the owner placed it back of the shelf ..he asked to see it... the gun went for 325 OTD

We have all done it at one time or another

Wow, you just me fell pretty good! A friend was looking for a .22 SA revolver. Now he's a pretty frugal guy and I was getting a little frustrated after about a year and half of showing him stuff. Then one day we were in a small pawn shop and I saw the nickle plated FIE in the case and showed it to him.
He fiddled around for about 30 min. and finally bought it. No box.
Got it home and figured the ejector rod wasn't quite right. It wobbled and was hard to push smoothly. I dropped it off at a local smith for him. About a week later the smith called me to come get it. He replaced the rod and spring. Cost $10.00!
Oh, my friend paid $75.00 for the gun and cylinders. So it's an $85. gun.

So Arron, you just made me feel pretty good about the whole deal. :)

Hello Yung.Gunr,,,

Aarond, sometimes when you say stuff about giving guns to friends it makes me wish I was a friend of yours.... Lol.

Mainly, you hafta be a poor but honest college kid at OSU,,,
Then, well it helps if you are a server at my favorite watering hole,,,
People who schlepp beer and food to me on a regular basis have a huge leg up. ;)

Then accompany me to the range on several occasions,,,
Show some real interest in learning to shoot,,,
And generally put up with my jokes.

It also helps (not mandatory) to be a perky young lady. :D

I really do not even think of buying guns for everyone,,,
Just the select few who show some true interest,,,
And even then only a small number of the total.

Yung.gunr, you must not follow aaron's "new shooter" posts too often. It's almost always a perky young lady. Personally, I more often than not wonder how he does that:confused:;):) Some guys have all the luck;)

Went to my LGS the other day to shoot my new (to me) Walther PP.
When I was done I went in the store just as someone was buying a Colt Trooper for $300.00!!! The salesman saw me and laughed,I was in so much pain!
If only I went in the store BEFORE I shot, it would have been mine.
That's the one that gotta way!
So I feel your pain LOL

I specifically remember talking about taking Mike to the range,,,
As well as Cody, a second Mike, Kevin, and another dude whose name I can't recall.

Cameron,,,
That was his name.

It's just that I don't boast about the dudes. :p

This coming Saturday morning,,,
The oh-so-lovely Sarah,,,
And maybe Kaylee.

The secret is,,,
Once you reach a certain age,,,
They consider you to be somewhat harmless. :)

In fact that's my Motto:

Aarond H. Graham,,,
Strange to the bone,,,
But basically harmless.

You guys crack me up.

I guess I don't qualify for the Aarond Gun Grant. When you decide to branch out to include "overall nice guys" in your program let me know. Lol

Can't blame you for being selective (yeah, that's what we will call it)... :D. I enjoy my wife's company to any other person.

You won an informal contest,,,

You are welcome Microgunner,,,

I should sponsor another impromptu contest someday,,,
That was actually quite a bit of fun.
