I need a new Savage!

Ordering a new rifle is like ordering a Russian bride...

Sure they look pretty in the pictures.
But in 6 month it's "das be danya"with the divorce lawyer and you living in a cardboard box. :D

Aaahhhh, but those 6 months.... :D

I am not sure that anyone on this forum has ever made a more true statement
 
The XPR in 6.5 Creedmoor I have now is a tac driver. Also I am sure that the Remington 5R Gen 2 I am picking up in a couple weeks will also drive tacs.

I have no doubt that a Savage in 308 or 300 wsm will be more accurate than me.
