Average Joe, THAT I can understand very well. I was just curious if there were some obscure federal law regarding the return of ammo. As you well know, there are many idiots working out there (for example, at Wal-Mart) who don't know the difference between store policy and law.Its a policy, and a darn good one at that ! There is no way I would ever want to buy ammo that somebody returned. With all the wacko people around, who knows what they could do to ammo....I won't even buy reloads for just that same reason.

And if they're willing to lie about that, what else are they lying about? Is that 'new' gun they're selling really new? Is it really the manufacturer's fault that the repair on your rifle is taking so long, or did it just sit in the back room for a month before someone got around to sending it off? I find it to be really distasteful doing business with people that I know are willing to lie to me.Sport45 said:And some know darned well it's store policy but find that quoting it as law means less arguments from customers trying to return the stuff. I really can't say I blame them for that.
