I know I bought Cheap Ammo, but Come On?

Those bullets should work fine. Who cares if your gun jams on it? its not like its the end of the world. I've had alot of 22 bullets that "rotate" its not that big of a deal. wow 20 bucks for a 500 bulk pack? SHAME!

Oh geez, it's certainly not the end of the world... Let's put it this way I just choose not to shoot them... for 20 bucks I dont want to have to drag every few rounds out of the chamber jammed... not worth it to me...

A SHAME is kids starving in our inner cities... ;) sorry couldnt resist

Thanks for your post....

:)

:D it was a lite hearted post glad you took it that way. makes me sad cause not even year and a half ago that was a 10 buck pack... Im surprised you have so much trouble with that bulk. my 10/22 and mark2 love Winchester HP and Federal target respectively...

...
....
.....

OR you could use it as an excuse to get a nice .22lr Revolver? I mean its kinda hard to argue with that logic! :D:D:D

But I feel you on getting bum ammo always a sad day.

Its a policy, and a darn good one at that ! There is no way I would ever want to buy ammo that somebody returned. With all the wacko people around, who knows what they could do to ammo....I won't even buy reloads for just that same reason.

Average Joe, THAT I can understand very well. I was just curious if there were some obscure federal law regarding the return of ammo. As you well know, there are many idiots working out there (for example, at Wal-Mart) who don't know the difference between store policy and law.

And some know darned well it's store policy but find that quoting it as law means less arguments from customers trying to return the stuff. I really can't say I blame them for that.

And if they're willing to lie about that, what else are they lying about? Is that 'new' gun they're selling really new? Is it really the manufacturer's fault that the repair on your rifle is taking so long, or did it just sit in the back room for a month before someone got around to sending it off? I find it to be really distasteful doing business with people that I know are willing to lie to me.

Patrice is right give them a call. But to me, for $40 I'd probably dispose of them. I can see no advantage to shooting them, only disadvantages.

So do I, but every now and then I have to buy a vehicle anyway. :)

I don't expect ANY salesman to be totally honest. If they were I would like them, but they wouldn't be a very good salesman. But that's just me...

"...you could shoot em out of a revolver..." Or a rifle.
"...idiots working out there, for example, at Wal-Mart..." Walmart employees get paid minimum wage with little or no training. Doesn't make them idiots.
No matter what .22 you have, be it a rifle or pistol, you have to try a box of as many brands as you can to find the ammo your firearm both shoots well and, in the case of a semi-auto, cycles the action. The price of said ammo means nothing either. Buying .22 ammo because it's relatively inexpensive isn't a good idea. Nor is blaming the retailer for a manufacturer's QC.
Loose bullets in .22 RF ammo isn't unusual. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it.
