...There will be no more illegal aliens in my neighborhood. I dunno about anywhere else but its just getting out of hand here in southern cali with illegal aliens. :(
I work graveyard and i get paid on thursdays. So every thursday morning i go to pick up my check after i get off work arround 6ish. To pick up my check i have to drive from my work(compton) to the great city of Torrance. Torrance is for the most part a great neighborhood. Low crime, nice houses etc.. After picking up my check i was driving home and passed a 7/11. (corner of Carson St./ Western Ave.) And i kid you not there were over 40 latino guys dressed as typical painters ya know.. just jeans, t-shirt standing arround waiting for something. there is no bus stop there so i dunno what for.. ?? hmm.. i wonder. :confused: As i was waiting for the light to change a Van stopped and picked up two of them and drove off. Meanwhile another one just finished taking a pee next to a truck.. (in plain sight of the traffic). After the light changed i drove off and noticed that every 20 feet or so there was a dozen guys just hanging arround. after 70 or so i quite counting. I was feeling sick.
So i go to a Wells Fargo the deposit my check next to a K-Mart shopping center and again at least fifteen guys just standing arround. Same MO. To top it all off when i got home there was some of those guys that go arround selling ice creams from those little carts (not legal in the city of Carson but the cops do nothing) asleep at the side of my house next to his cart!!! AND i live in a nice part of carson. I tell the guy to get lost and he just babbles something in spanish about my mother. (I speak a little) so i cuss him out and he takes off. :mad:

Sorry i just needed to rant and rave a bit. Today was just too much for me to hack. Just in the last few months illegal's are just everywhere. Don't even think of going to a Home Depot.

I am in no way any type of racist. Im actually the only white guy within prob ten blocks of my house. My city is prob 30% latino 30% asian 20% black/samoan 20% white(i dunno where there at though) hahahaa You have to have an open mind or you just won't last here. I do have a huge problem with Illegals though and it seems the only person that carres is some Republican from wisconsin. I know most of the people on this board are not from commifornia but this is a huge issue out here and if you can in any way support kicking them out please do.

Not to pick nits or belittle your problem, but if your neighborhood is 30% Latino, how do you know they were all illegals? Did you ask to see their Green Cards or work authorizations, or can you just tell by looking at them?
 
you know your right.. i guess im just paranoid. They were prob just some out of work painters stopping off to get some coffee. Man do i feel dumb.. Im sorry for being so stereotypical. By the way your not allowed to ask them for any form of ID as it goes againt there Amercian civil rights.. even thougt their not american. You can get sued, you can not even call the police to ask them disperse from out in front of the store as its harassment and the cop could be written up/fired. :rolleyes:

(Okay, maybe its a little too early in the morning for sarcasm, but the snow is pretty high outside and the scary thing is...this is really what some people are asking us to believe.)
 
Perhaps. But there are some here (not many) on the reservation...who have like dreams that the rest of the interlopers would also go away.
Might consider that parameter. The US has always been a place, where some group or another has come in under unwanted terms.
And it's bloody well time to bring back employment signs saying "no Irish".
You know those people, actually drink at funerals...and they're proud of it. Even have a song about it "Finnigan's Wake", which has corrupted our young. And perversions...they kiss rocks you know... And some don't even speak English...
This all has happened before...
 
Don't worry, be happy.

Your representatives are hard at work to change the Constitution so as to allow foreign borns to be President of the United States and the people lining up for that nomination are working on a general amnesty for your neighbours.

You follow? Amnesty = no more illegals = all a happy family.

By the way, your job will drop to the new and lower minimum wage levels since the employers will be able to hire from a vast legal workforce, but you want your new friends to have legal jobs, right?
 
Faraway, perhaps you should learn about an important distinction:

LEGAL

vs.

ILLEGAL

Immigrants. The Irish and other groups game in LEGALLY. For me, it's a fairly simple concept to grasp, and I'm not the sharpest tool hanging in the shed, so I think you can do it!
 
I had better not ever find anyone, of any color, speaking any language, asleep on the side of my house. That would not be a happy day for either of us.
 
The best one is the next time you are around a bunch of mexicans or latinos, just tell them you are with I.N.S. and see what happens!!! :) :) :)
 
I once arrested a Wet Back who was walking down a street, saw a lawn mower,
walked up into the yard and stole it. I arrested him as he was walking down the street, pushing the lawn mower. His comment was, "But you Gringos have so much in this country, what does it hurt if I "steel" a little bit of it".

I live in Texas. My friends who live on the border say, "It's not if your house will be burglarized by Wets, but when".

Well don't worry when we get our new National ID card this will all go away. Also the card will keep us safe from terrorist.As only real Americans will have them . There was a time I'd laugh at the 1 world gov. thing. But today I don't know.
 
How will it all go away? People will be able to get them illegally, and I'd really rather not have a national ID card. To big brotherish. How about we try, I don't know, securing our borders?
 
First Freedom, no discourtesy intended, but mayhaps you should read a bit more about the history of your own country. The idea that all the past immigrants came in legally, via the lines at Ellis (or other places) is a comforting mythology.
Nice to have it, but its not quite true. With the Irish, many chose to enter via Canadian ports, as the tickets cost somewhat less, than an arrival to NY or other US ports. Then, quite a few slipped over the border, usually going to NYC. That's how my Irish ancestors got here. Then after a few little problems with the NYC riots, they moved on to Colorado, Montana and the like.
For the people who have German ancestors, not all of their forebearers came in "legally" either. After the failed 1848 revolutions in the various German states and principalities, those who had taken part had to often leave or be subject to imprisonment or execution. Being known revolutionaries, or even loosely tied to that lost cause, many could not leave home, or enter another country without false documents. So, from a modern sense, many of the German-American contingent would have been considered terrorists, or illegals. They did enter under false pretense.
So yes, I am quite aware of the distinction between illegal and legal immigration. You might consider that the current situation is nothing new.
And that, in the long term, Nativism has never served this country well.

It is SOP for day laborers to gather on certain street corners and in front of home improvement stores (eg Home Depot) in Southern California. Most of these folks are illegals. It's not exactly a wild leap to assume that a group of men, dressed in typical day laborer garb, hanging out on a street corner or empty lot for no apparent reason, are illegals.

No, not really. Yes, there has been both legal and illegal immigration to this country. But there are major differences between then and now.
1)In what studies I have read, the estimated number of illegal entries of past decades does not come close to comparing to the number of illegals entries in our present time period.
2)The immigration booms of yester-year occurred when the nation was still young and expanding. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, there was still plenty of land and resources. It is simply not true today.
3)Germans, Irish, Italians, ect. who came to this country came from a long, long distance. Sounds like a minor point, but coming here, they were forced to "leave" their homelands, both physically, and to some extent psychologically. While many of them retained a sense of pride in their origin, most of them knew when they left that they were coming to America to become Americans. I question whether Illegals from our neighboring south are willing to detach themselves from their native country in the same way. It is okay to keep some customs and pride in your place of origin, but at the end of the day, immigrants must be willing to become Americans. Otherwise, there is no "melting" in the melting pot.
 
True, but some are also...gasp...tax evaders.
Just part of the barter and bargain economy, which seems to be getting more prevelant in this country.
And anyway, better to stand on a streetcorner than have a temp. labor company take a wack out of already low wages.
And anyway, these events, have been part of the US condition since at least the 1850's. Get used to it.
And really, the guv'ment isn't going to be any more effective about current illegal immigration than they were in the past. Additionally, if they did become so, it would be just another layer added to a guv'ment which seems to be set on dismantling our few remaining rights.
We are already close to identity cards, we've already got de-facto random searches and detentions...how much more power need we loose, and how much more to our keepers...?

Anyone who wants to on the internet can read this. You're talking about actions you took as a police officer, correct? Do you really believe it's appropriate to use that kind of language?

Would you ever think of saying you arrested a "n----r" instead of a black person?

Seriously, I think posts like this are dangerous. If people start seeing gun owners as a bunch of racists, we are going to lose bigtime.

..when they are pissing in your streets you would relate better.
..when your city has more signs in spanish than english you would relate better.
..when teenagers can't get a weekend job doing yardwork/ or any work for that matter to get some extra cash then you would relate better
..when the crime rate goes up, overcrowding in the prisions forcing them to release criminals sometimes without serving any time at all you would relate better.
The list can go on and on..
Don't worry like a cancer it will spread to your city too. Their already in idaho, and Washington..

I don't have cable at my house but i have 11 english channels and 9 spanish, and the spanish ones comes in better :confused:

I would like to go Jack in the Box and order a Jumbo Jack for once.

Try to explain to me why i had to pay a recent ER bill of $700.00 while these people pay nothing.. thats also another reason.. our hospitals are closing because their going broke supporting all the illegal aliens.
I have a lot of latino friends and believe it or not most of them agree with me.

Texans are nuts, i know my inlaws are Harris County Sheriffs in Houston. :D
