How much does your range charge?

Private range is $319.50 for the year. The $19.50 is tax
This gives the member full use 6 days a week and shoot anything from 22lr to 50 BMG.
rifle range is 100, 210, 320 and part of the club is long range which is shot twice monthly at a distance of 1,000 yards
Public range is $10 and shoot all day long. They are much more restricted as to no double taps, no drawing from a holster, 7,15,25,50,and 100 yard shooting bays and lastly very crowded all day long. Its an extreme rarity that the range is half full

Jack squat zero. Private land, private range. Shoot when, what, and at what ever I feel like. Shooting range from zero to about 175 yards where I have backstop at. Over a mile of hardwoods between shooting range and the nearest house.

Sounds nice. We're coming over.:D

I pay $50 a year for membership at a local sportman's club with 108 acres, about 7 miles from my house.

I get the combos for 2 gates, firing range is behind the second one.

The place has skeet/trap range, an indoor range in the basement of the clubhouse, archery range, and 25/50/100/200 yard shooting ranges.

No range officers, we police ourselves. Pretty informal and relaxed, which is what I like.

After reading what some of you pay, I feel pretty good about my place.

Three within 100 miles of me.
One is free.
One is an honorary $1.00 per day.
Other is $30.00 per year.
The one in my backyard is free.

I belong to two local clubs, Newcastle WY and Spearfish SD, I only shoot at them if I'm doing a match or clinic as I have my own range (to 400 yards).

Newcastle: $35 annual family membership, indoor and out door range, No daily fees. For Non Members its $5 a day.

Spearfish: Outdoor, $20 a year, I don't know if they have a daily non member fee I only shoot pistol matches there.

There is an indoor 25-yard range less than 10 minutes from my house with a flat $10 fee without a time limit. Hard to beat that, especially on a hot summer day.

We have an indoor nearby that charges $10/hour. Not my favorite place to shoot. A bit further away is a great outdoor range that only charges $50/year, which also covers your spouse and kids. The place is great- small pistol range, 250 yard rifle range, and a skeet field. In a beautiful place too- back side if a mountain in the beginning chaparral area which opens to a rain-shadow desert. Anyone can buy a membership, but it's secluded and relatively unknown, so it generally keeps the jackasses away. Also open 24 hours!

$17 for entrance. about $0.60 per paper target.

I don't know how much the eye/ear/ and gun rentals are.

No time limit.

EDIT: The closest outdorr range is $35 per day.

Some of you with 20-30 buck YEAR membership is insane:eek:

nearest outdoor range which is about 20 miles away and is run by the county is $11.95 per day no time limit and includes 10,20,50,and 100 yard ranges. not bad but heavily regulated due to it being run by the county.

$100 / yr. membership
$20 per visit for non-members

Pistol range: 7, 15, 25yd
Rifle range 1: 50 and 100 yd
Rifle range 2: 200 yd
Archery: 25 yd
Trap range and indoor pistol range (have yet to use these)

Spokane Rifle Club, 5 minutes from my house. As a member, I can bring a guest for free.

Works for me :)

At the nearest Arkansas Game and Fish range:
rifle and pistol - $3 per person,
skeet and trap - $4 per round of 25.
Eye and ear protection are provided, and spotting scopes are available for a $2 rental.
No time limit, except for closing time. Targets provided.

At the nearest private (indoor range): $12, no time limit, except for closing time. Targets start at $1, IIRC.

Local Bass Pro Shops indoor range, $75/yr, no real time limits but I've been told that if the wait-list starts to stretch out the range master will ask folks to limit their time (never actually seen them do that yet).

My range is club owned, and costs $25 per year to be a member. It has seperate handgun, trap and rifle areas, all outdoors. You don't have to do very much to other than pay dues to be a member, and there are some club activities that are of interest, like the upcoming game supper.

Gainesville target Range (FL)

http://gainesvilletargetrange.com/

Gainesville is a typical liberal college town and it really upsets many libbies that there is a NRA supporting gun range in their city limits & they can't do ANYTHING about it.

$300/yr for family membership. Open 7 days /wk, 8 am to dusk except when training classes are conducted & then 1 or more ranges are closed. 100yd rifle/slug (12 lanes), up to 25 yd pistol range with paper targets (about 10 lanes), up to 25 yd steel target range with about 12 different steel target (pistol ammo only). No range officers, self policed & no unsafe activity tolerated.

Roberts range (3 lanes for classes) and the tactical range open only to LE & military personnel.

Mine charges $100 per year on a corporate deal with four folks (400/4=100)
No charge for rifle or pistol. 2 pistol areas, one 300 yard rifle, one 850 yard rifle, all covered benches, plus two 5-stands, two sporting clays courses, and two FITASC parcours - you pay for the clay targets at a reduced price from a non-member

Shoot what you want on the metallic side of things - .22 to 50BMG, including full auto

Danxyz53 - Gainesville also has Gator Trap and Skeet by the airport - one of the few true International Bunker trap set ups in the country

one indoor range that is pistol caliber only except 500 mag is 12 an hr but let u short burst rapid fire:) poor ventilation though. The other indoor range that has a pistol and rifle range is something like 20 an hr/ no rapid fire at all strictly inforced:( has good ventilation, I only go their when I wanna shoot my 500 mag. There is a gun club and their rifle range is 20 for the day, one bullet loaded and shot at a time (out door range), I'm not sure about the pistol range. all of these ranges let you bring your own ammo so thats a plus.

Local Gander Mt. Academy indoor handgun range is $25/hr. You can shoot your own ammo.

The two Rod + Gun clubs I belong to are $20 and $25 annually
