I wonder how the poll would look if it was a law abiding mayor who married two guys in contravention of state law

Same answer, why wouldn't it be?I wonder how the poll would look if it was a law abiding mayor who married two guys in contravention of state law

Possibly, but we will never know cause that one would get shut down in a minuteSo while you, me, and some others may answer the same I have little doubt the overall vote would change significantly.
If being a sheep means obeying the law and working with the system in a mature responsible way, becoming involved in the process and being a good citizen, ratrher than ranting on the internet about unconstituional laws and how you should be able to pick and chose the laws YOU want to obey without regard to the consequences to the polity of such anarchy, and further not having enough cojones to go out there and test the law you feel is so wrong and horrible, then if thats a sheep then I say
That would be a good rebuttal if that was what the discussion was aboutratrher than ranting on the internet about unconstituional laws and how you should be able to pick and chose the laws YOU want to obey without regard to the consequences to the polity of such anarchy, and further not having enough cojones to go out there and test the law you feel is so wrong and horrible, then if thats a sheep then I say

Cojones AND money!
And by sheep I mean not having the cojones to actually think for yourself but instead allowing others to dictate your beliefs according to their interpretations and getting bunched up when your attempt at self righteous indignation backfires on you

What he said. Until its time to vote from the roof tops (and I'd be surprised if 1% of this board had the gumption to do such a thing) we have an obligation to work within the system. The law and the constitution are NOT a salad bar.
Why are they a salad bar for the government, but not a salad bar for everyone else? Clearly politicians have no problem violating the highest law of the land at every turn.STAGE 2 said:What he said. it's too late to work within the system,
But laws that are blatantly unconstitutional are there to be broken.
