How many of you work in a gun-free zone?

Yes - gun free work zone. I work for a large corporation with a no gun policy on company property or at company sponsored functions.

I work at a correctional facility in Missouri and obviously no guns are allowed inside the institution but if you have a valid CCW you can have them in your LOCKED vehicle out of site in the parking lot. Now that is your choice whether you want to risk leaving it in your vehicle at such a place. I am not going to disclose what my personal choice is in particular.

The thought of someone bringing a firearm into a state correctional facility is absolutely absurd to me. CO's are easily out numbered at least 50:1 any given night. I would feel more unsecure than secure having a firearm in a place like that.

I work on Fort Huachuca, AZ. You can't truly say it's gun free because you can bring guns on post to shoot out at the range, and the PX sells guns and ammo. But it is still federal property and other then these exceptions, it's mostly gun free territory. That being said, this is also home to a lot of other DHS/ICE/BP activity along with the Army.

Some folks are admitting to breaking various rules and I deleted some that I saw.

TFL does not encourage you to break laws or company rules. Reporting that you do such is not a good policy for you or for us to allow to be stated here.
