It's no longer my EDC but for years my 239.

I own neither and thus carry neither. between the two, I'd rather carry the sig, had good experiences with the M11. I usually shoot well with glocks, but I just do not care for them.
that said. I prefer XDMs to both and regularly carry an XDM compact.

Glock 30S is most of time primary, with the Glock 41 as a winter carry.
Though I do not........
..........carry it everyday as I did, for a long time I toted a Sig P232SL in the .380 flavor. Always wanted to jump up to a 239, but alas, discovered sweet SA in a FEG Hi-Power and got hooked on that. Carry that quite a bit. For something the size of the 239, I carry an Astra A70 in 9mm. My only plastic gun is a Ruger LCP. I carry that when it's so hot and humid that I can't wear my Hawaiian shirt cover ups.
However, I won't knock the Glock. My buddy has a 17 and a 26. Being the owner of all steel guns ( except for that orphan LCP ), they felt funny to my hands to begin with. But Son Of A Gun can those things be accurate! I shot them better than the A70, but not the Hi-Power. Didn't like them enough to get rid of what I got, but I'll give credit where credit is due. They're no nonsense shooters. At least once you get used to that funny trigger!

Another defective poll.
What happened to "Other" or "None of the above"?
If you look back to the beginning of the thread you will notice I all ready answered that question. It's not a defective poll I am targeting a specific group of people if I wanted other or none of the above or anything else that would have been including. Thank you for your reply.
Don't misunderstand me ladies and gentleman all replies are welcome regardless of your opinion or the caliber or brand of gun you carry. i would like to hear about it if you want to reply.
it's just that the poll is directed towards two specific brands on purpose.

I conceal carry a G27 inside waist band usually. When I'm hunting I open carry a G23. I think Sigs are nice and all, it's just I'm a big H&K and FN fan so once I get above the Glock price point I start saving for my favorites. However, all I really ever carry are my Glocks anymore. The G27 is thicker and a little bigger than my other CC's which include a Kahr MK9 and my most recent purchase- an XDs .45. Still I still keep going back to carrying my Glocks. I love their ruggedness, simplicity, and reliability. I just simply feel safest and most capable when it's what I'm carrying.

soviet california makes me happy to live in capitalist Idaho where we can carry any derned gun we want on any CWP. if I was forced to get a new license every time I changed my carry I think I would go insane.
You couldn't pay me enough to carry a GLock. OK, maybe you could pay me enough, but you wouldn't, because it would take more money than you think...
Sig P220 .45ACP (actually a 1980 vintage Browning BDA 45) on those rare occasions when I do still carry a service pistol size gun.
I do think you are missing something on your poll, as the people who have a Glock or Sig and don't carry them "EDC" are kind of left out.

The OP doesn't care what guns people have and don't EDC- he is clearly interested in the number of people whose primary EDC is a Glock, and the number whose primary EDC is a Sig. It's clearly not intended to be an all inclusive poll for people who don't EDC or EDC a gun he is not concerned with.

Changed from the G23 Gen4, to my P239 SAS, about two years ago. Switched to IWB carry at the same time, when I started P/T SRS duty at a local school.
I had almost forgotten how much I like the feel of that 239, and how well I shoot it. The finger grooves on the 23 never did quite fit me, but it still shoots surprisingly well. One less distraction to interfere with grip acquisition makes the Sig just a tiny bit quicker on target for me.
