How many guns do you bring to the Range?

How many I take very much depends on what I intend to do.
Yesterday, it was three guns - a .22, a .38, a .45.
Practice slow fire at 50 yards for Bullseye matches.

During this past week, most days I took two - a High Standard .22 and a Gold Cup. Practice matches.
If I am shooting a rifle, usually I'll have the rifle and a pistol. I may not use the pistol but I will have it and it will most probably be a .45.
When I go to the Trap range, I bring a BT-99 only.

Usually 4-6 handguns and plenty of ammo :D
But, its ususlly 3-4 of us shooting. My wife my self and at least one of our two kids.

Depends on the range and the reason for going (going just to check a gun might be only a couple) but usually if it the outdoor range then 6 to 8 (2 rifles and 4 or more pistols). Indoor range is more like 4 to 5. Usually 2 9mm's, 1 or 2 .22's, a rifle, and maybe something else like the .45.

You can't bring to much fun. :D

I turn a lot of money into noise,,,
But rarely get any practical shooting in.

Now I usually limit myself to one rimfire/centerfire pair of handguns,,,
Those will be the guns I will do my serious practice with,,,
I'll also take one that's just pure fun to shoot.

Last time out I took my two little mouse-guns for serious practice,,,
I cooked off 150 rounds of .22 LR and 25 rounds of .25 ACP.

I also took Stella, my Model 15,,,
Just because I love to shoot that revolver. :D

But that's just me,,,

Sometimes I take just my 22/45, plink off a couple of hundred rounds and then pick up everyone else's brass. :D

But I usually take my EDC and run a hundred rounds through it. My range doesnt allow any kind of real drills I can pratice so I'll go and work on trigge control and double taps. I pratice unholstering and reholstering at home.

Yea, Cleaning.

I don't like to bring more than 3, 2 majority of time, due to cleaning immediately afterward.


Desert trip I will bring 5-6

ive been hitting the range every other week. I don't like cleaning that often:o
