How many guns do you bring to the Range?

At the range today I looked around a bit and everyone had 1 or 2 guns. My case and range bag together carry 6 guns, so I bring 6 guns. Any good reasons to bring more or less?

Bring whatever fills the bill that day. Some days I bring only one, others, I bring several. Depends on whether I'm just staying current or having fun. Fun means lots of .22s.:D A several hour stay at an outdoor range usually means at least 5 or 6.

Yes, it really depends on time and money. I generally carry three to the indoor range and more if I go to a family member’s private range. Also, I always bring an extra gun along to use as a carry gun on my way home so I am not relying on a dirty firearm.

2 or 3, then again at this time, I only own 4(well 5 but the 5th is still under cool down/wait period)

If I had easier access to an outdoor range and/or owned more, I'd probably bring more though :D

Really depends on how much time I have, if I have a lot it's usually at least 2 rifles and at least 2 handguns. My 10/22 and MarkIII always go with me. The Mini-14 is a most of the time gun. The rest of my handguns and rifles get alternated depending on my mood. Next trip the Mosin Nagant will probably go, should probably get the Walther PP out too.

When practicing seriously only the gun or guns(if shooting 3 gun) for fun 2 to 4 depending on how long I have to shoot.

It seems like everytime I go to the range, there is a .22cal in the bag. After that, it could be most anything. I don't think I've ever taken more than 3.

Usually 2 or 3.

My range bag is a bit small- it used to be the wife's soft-sided leather briefcase for work.

It's funny, but I usually only take 2-3 at a time also. "Funny" as in seems like other fellas do it the same way.
I usually will take a gun or to that I intend to shoot plus one that is always loaded and on my person but is not shot.
I have a lot more than 3 firearms, but my excursions to the range are usually specific trips to fire selected ones for whatever reason.

thats a lot of cleaning time, I brought 5 once. Took me 6 hours to clean...

I just shoot one, saves money, unless I have someone with me then I will bring more.

I usually only take two with me when I go, unless the wife goes along and then we may bring up to 4.

If I had more time for the hobby and a good outdoor range I could go to and spend a whole afternoon, I might take more. But I'm stuck for now with an indoor range with time limits on how long you can shoot, so usually 2 guns, 1 to 3 boxes of ammo each, is about all I can fit in on a single visit.

I all ways bring my CCW and shoot at least 1 box from it (S&W 640 in 357 magnum)

Typically I bring 2 guns, the J-frame and what ever else I feel like shooting.

EIGHT HANDGUNS, in 38SPL, 45ACP, 45COLT, 44RUSSIAN, 44-40, 44SPL, 22LR [ only one autoloader , a 22LR, all the rest SA sixguns ] and usually a 22LR or 44-40 carbine. This does not takie into account my carry gun either.

Usually a minimum of 3 or 4, and sometimes as many as 6 or 8 mix of handguns, and rifles.
No matter what else I take, one or more of my CCW guns gets a "workout".
the only time I can think I would only have one would be with my T/C Contender. Then I would probably have 4 or 5 barrels though.

That depends on the ammo situation. I have 22 mag, .38/357, 9mm, 40SW, 45ACP in handguns.

22LR, 243, 223, and 12ga in long guns.

I"m a member of a club so I can go shooting a lot. Because of that and the fact that I don't have time to clean a bunch of guns I usually take no more than 3 at a time. The next visit I'll usually take 3 different guns, so they know I love them all equally :D

I bring 4 to 6. Always at least one 22 rimfire.

Why not bring more? Cleaning.

Start and end with my Ruger .22 - usually.

Although I went to the range tonight specifically to zero the sights on my 17L.

I sort of thought that it was shooting left, but alot of people said that happens with Glocks - you have to get used to it, squeeze the trigger more slowly, yada yada yada, blah blah blah.

I have a nice trigger kit in it, my follow-through when dry firing is rock solid, I've had it for around six months now so I decided to just move the rear sight, declare victory and move on.

So no Ruger with me tonight.
