How do you go concealed-carry in a T-shirt and Shorts ?

I've carried a SIG C3 under a loose t-shirt without trouble. One doesn't have to immediately go to a Rohrbaugh or other very small gun.

I've carried slightly larger guns, too, but avoiding printing under a t-shirt starts to get challenging.

OTOH, in FL, GA, and NC, my preferred method was IWB over a t-shirt or tank, under a loose outer shirt. That has worked quite well with full-size 1911s, N-frames, etc.

Excellent concealment in shorts/tshirt

I use a belly band made by Active Pro Gear, called the Defender. Once a dog menaced me on the street while I was running in a tshirt and shorts. The knucklehead that owned the dog drove up to his house while I was pointing a gun at the dog. He had the nerve to call the police, even though he was violating the law by allowing a vicious dog to run loose. A cop came to check me out, and looked me up and down without being able to figure out where I had a gun. I carried a Kahr PM9 then. Now I carry two 41 magnum revolvers, one behind each hip, also using the Defender (I had to sew on another pouch for the second gun). The guns are well-concealed and comfortable. I can draw quickly. Why two 41 mags? Because two shotguns are impractical for concealment.

I only skimmed the other posts but I know other people have said it. People will not notice. I spent last summer carrying a USPc 40 (not a small gun) in a IWB holster at about 5 o'clock. I wore cargo shorts, slightly bulky around my backside and it lets the pocket sewn into the outisde of the shorts cover and hide where the gun sits. I wore the same t-shirts I always did before, somewhat athletic fit but still room to breath, and although I myself thought the gun was visible, no one else noticed. A few close friends know that I carry and on occasion I would ask how noticable my carry was (something I no longer worry about) and everytime was told it wasn't noticed until brought up.

Two things to worry about. Wearing a t-shirt long enough that it won't ride up. And if you need to bend down to get something, bending with your knees is generally better than bending at the waist, keeps your shirt from uncovering your carry.

Try the Smart Carry, a pouch-like holster that sits below your navel in your shorts. Nearly invisible and reasonably accessible.

Front pocket. DeSantis pocket holster.

From winter to summer...it's always with me.

I wanted to say how about a full size 1911 on a lanyard around your neck, . . . but figured someone might try that and get hurt.

Seriously, . . . cargo shorts would be my first thought. Big pockets there, . . . easy to get to, . . . easy to draw from. AND, . . . if you want to be creative, . . . cut the back out of the cargo pocket, . . . put on a thigh holster, . . . and put your cannon of choice on that leg with the pocket flap being held down with a velcro dot.

Just thinking out of the box.

May God bless,
Dwight

IWB holster with T-shirt untucked. Or golf shirt untucked. Not white. Something with a pattern. Hawaiian shirt or "gaucho" shirts are better.

P-3AT in the pocket holster if nothin' else.
