How do you go concealed-carry in a T-shirt and Shorts ?

you've got options when it comes to summer wear, in my opinion, you can use
an inside the waistband holster. i've found the manufacture Elite makes a very durable nylon open top holster.

if you feel a little unsafe with the open top then find your self a IWB holster with a thumb break snap the Desantis Dual Carry is pretty nice.

if quick draw is on your mind then i would go with an open top holster

but

if you feel like you can not conceal that glock 45 of yours i would say to
look into getting sum thing more concealable, the glock 36 is very slim if you want to stick with glock. the Kahr Arms PM45 is my favorite nice size good grip 45 to conceal.

if that still bugs ya id recommend stepping down a caliber and look into thinner 9mm handguns. a few nice options for concealed carry would be
the Kel Tec PF9, the Ruger LC9, & the Kimber Solo Carry.

but

if that still bugs well id look into the pocket size handguns the Ruger LCP in a pocket holster or even pancake is very discrete and virtually unnoticeable.

well hope i was of sum help to your concealment needs.

happy shooting :D

While not a Hawiian shirt, the Lady Friend is a fashion major, the concept is still the same.

I wear either a loose fitting short sleeve button down shirt, the Columbia PFG brand work well, or a a button down dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

According to Joe Rogan who could destroy most gun guys...fanny packs are awesome. However when I see one I usually hear "there's a gun" in my mind. Loose fitting overshirt is the key. I wear a t shirt tucked in and a button up shirt untucked. Works for me. Although I don't carry big guns.

I choose shorts for pocket size and carry a 3" 1911 in a custom pocket holster. I'm not into speed-walking so it works very well for me.

Shorts and T-shirt? Well that's me 95% of the time. I carry a 7 shot .357 snub IWB appendix carry . Works great with shorts and a T-shirt. Despite the picture I am rather comfortable with this form of carry. And as you can see from the first photo little to none on the issue of printing. And the second photo like I said might look uncomfortable but it really is not.

Dear Lord - describe - do not show your hairy belly!

Anyway - cargo shorts and J frame in the pocket

or

IWB Glock, t-shirt and big floppy light weight shirt.

Ruger LCP in wallet holster in right hip pocket.

Walther PPS in IWB tuckable holster at 10:00. Don't like untucked shirts, so I just shrug my shoulders up and the "flopover" nicely conceals the pistol outline while looking less unkempt than an untucked shirt.

IWB...Crossbreed are great, so are Comp-tac. Wear a solid color T-shirt without printing or logos, otherwise people will stare at you long enough to read your shirt increasing the odds of them "printing" you.

Shorts and a T-shirt nearly all the time in the hot Detroit summers for me. Only thing that changed for me was wearing my shirts out. 8 or 9 years ago BC (before carry) I wore my shirts tucked in. Most around here wear their t-shirts out, so I just fit in better is all. Kimber UCDP @ 3:30 in a Don Hume JIT slide and a P32 in back pocket in an Uncle Mike's #1. Simple and comfortable. Unchanged in winter.

lets not all fergit the draw factor here..for the op other shirts or pockets are a whole nother deal for having easy access...

Live in Miami Florida. Have all my life. My main carries are, a Glock 21sf, SIG P226 E2, Beretta PX4 Storm, Glock 27 sometimes, and an Hk USP .40. Now 4 out of 5 of my main carries are full sized. I wear t-shirts and jeans most of the time. I'm 6'2 thin framed and mainly carry IWB. Also, I wear a lot of button ups when I go out at night. Anywhere. So that helps for then. 4:00 at an FBI cant and they'll never notice a damn thing.

SPEmak has the way of it. There are a wide variety of above shirts. Remember any sort of pattern or triping is extremely helpful in breaking up patterns.

I did a year undercover for an MSP team, I carried a S&W 3913 inside the wasitband at 9, ( lefty) rocked forward to hide the grips, no holster, in t-shirt I would tuck it in, drop the smith down the neck, slide it in position, puff the t-shirt out around it, after about 15 minutes the gun sticks to your skin and it doesnt move. no clips, snaps, leather to hide.

A loose fitting short sleeve button up shirt with a pattern will really help break up your Glock. It does not have to be Hawaiian, just any pattern.

Personally though, I'd opt for j-frame. Easier to pull off with any attire.

I gave up trying to pack a big gun during the summer a long time ago. Just doesn't work for me. The J-frame revolver is my favorite in hot weather, in either a pocket holster or Pager Pal. The Pager Pal is more difficult to draw from, but provides near perfect concealment.

I carry an LCP in a Blackhawk size 4 holster at 3:30. I'm always wearing shorts and a T so I figure in a pinch the LCP will get me back to my car or house whatever be the case.

Out of the house today wearing shorts, wife beater shirt with a T-shirt over it and a full size 1911. It can be done. Unless your shirts are paper thin the black gun shouldn't be visible. You have to adjust the way you dress. Tight fitting shirts, pants will not cut it especially the shirts when it comes to concealment:cool:

Me tinks that belly button is in need of a black Sharpie and some art work!!:D
