Here's the post that puts me on the FBI's list.

Aw hell, I have had a CCW for 8-9 years, constantly write my congresscritters and write letters to the editor about gun control. I know I am on all the lists. No use worrying about it.

Speaking as a retired police officer I would not consider an UN "peacekeeper" on American soil a brother officer.

Having said that, George, you point is very well taken. This is not the place for such discussions.

It's unrealistic to think the UN would come here anyway. We ARE the UN. They don't do anything we don't want. If the government wants to crack down on its citizens, the troops used will be US troops, not French or Belgian or whatever.

Hey, I got kicked off Glocktalk for ruffling feathers! A similar conversation to this one was the downfall.

Yeah, and as George said
"Any resistance at that point is too late."
Too late? for who?
Sorry to hear you feel that way. Why don't you just go ahead and give up now, before it gets to that point, I hear the Million Mom March could use a few more people, and the brady bunch will probably give you $50 each for your guns at some buyback. That might get your name off the lists and get you classified as a "re-educated" citizen. There are a some people here that won't ever give up, and a bunch out there that it will take blue hats in the streets to wake up. Maybe it will be too late, but if it does get that far, aint nobody on the "lists" getting out alive, so what the hell, its a good day to die!

If the UN wants to take over LA, I say, "Let 'em have it." They will find out soon enough that the local government is a little too oppressive even for them.

If you're not a little upset with the way the world is going, you're not paying attention.

I'm new to the pistol crowd so I'm not likely to be on any list. If this thread gets closed then that sounds like a good tip off to the feds to put me on a list. So, sign me up. I like being around freinds.

Like George, I refrain from commenting on how I would react to the Blue Coats.

Picture a dog fight between 2 Rottweilers and some military genius with a blue hat decides the thing to do is break it up by tossing in a dozen cats. Come back in 10 minutes and see 2 tired Rotties with full tummys ignoring each other and hollering, "Here, kitty kitty"!

What list? Where do I sign up?

RKBA!

Ok I made this mess. :D
This is an open invitation to the moderators to close this thread down. Maybe it can be reopened with a slighty different (non LEO capping) bent.

Meiji-Man, I think we have already established that the UN "peacekeepers" are most certainly NOT LEOs. So no "leo-capping" has been discussed here.

But be carefull all,

Another level of people that the American Population Sheeple can relinquish their rights volunatarily to might sound temptng to the Kalifornia and New England types. Soon Rosie and her blue beret bodyguards will be preaching that US LEO's and Armed Service men do not need guns, only UN people.

No, They will simply enact legislation (or even better, an Executive Order) that makes all US (Federal) LEO's and Armed Service-persons part of the UN.

There, problem solved.

"[Even if there would be] few tears shed if and when the Second Amendment is held to guarantee nothing more than the state National Guard, this would simply show that the Founders were right when they feared that some future generation might wish to abandon liberties that they considered essential, and so sought to protect those liberties in a Bill of Rights. We may tolerate the abridgement of property rights and the elimination of a right to bear arms; but we should not pretend that these are not reductions of rights." -- Justice Scalia 1998

Think for a minute about some of the countries these Peacekeepers come from. Now consider that they would be sent here, to The U.S., the Holy Grail for every third worlder who dreams of a better life, to face angry people who are well armed. My guess is that as soon as a patrol gets far enough away from their base camp, they're gonna lose those uniforms and PRESTO! We got another dozen new U.S. citizens.
You don't send starving people to guard the resturant.

Anyone here ever been on the repressed side of martial law? I know curfews and ID are probably SOP for such but what else?
