but those are really nice, WA. I'm not sure how he managed to put so much detail in there without making them look tacky to me, but he did. That really takes some skill.
The quality of Jim's work as compared to Kusmit's is like night and day!!! As to those who might think that $20,000 is too much for what he's done so far, then I challenge you to find anything near as good for twice the price.
That is marvelous work pure and simple!!! Artistry on a level not seen more than once in twenty years. Thanks for sharing, WildworktoobeautifultobetrueAlaska!
This must be how car guys feel when they look at Jay Leno's collection, somethng like a mix of envy, lust and awe. Very, very nice, a hundred years from now, that gun will still be turning heads.
The bass pro here in springfield mo has a fine gun room with lots of high dollar guns like this. I would love to be that skilled at anything. My gun is a sp101 that is engraved from the factory and I'm sure every handgun I ever own will be personalized but I could never afford something like that. Even if this guy charges 50,000 for doing this gun, when you consider that time spend learning and practicing the art it probably doesn't come out to a lot of money per hour, and I respect the hell out of that.
The same way it is done in music. If you make a mistake, you just do it twice, then people think its intentional!
And that one will look great parkerized with a quad rail!
Seriously, that is a true work of art by a master, an expression of not just skill, but inspiration. And that, you can't measure in terms of mere money.
