Lemme clue you in:
The majority of people indicted in this country usually go free, in many cases because they're not guilty of THAT PARTICULAR crime. That's the way the system works. Shall we jail them all because someone told us they were involved in other crimes for which they couldn't be charged? One scumbag is indicted and gets off. Two cops are indicted, tried and found guilty. Flagellating us with rumor from "grass roots" websites doesn't help anyone's case. You either believe in the Rule of Law or you apply it selectively.
Wingman-
Who decides who is the good cop and who is the bad cop; who is the drug runner and who is the guy in the wrong place at the wrong time? In MY world, it's the Courts. In yours it is, evidently, YOU. I like my world better.
And don't get me wrong. Of course I believe Davilla was a drug runner. I'm simply able to separate what I believe from what the Courts have proven. And, even if he WERE convicted, so what? These agents didn't identify him as a fleeing felon. And so what if they had? You STILL can't shoot the guy. That's called Rule of Law.
Speaking only for myself, I thank God that Judges and Attorneys are required to spend a few years studying things like Legal History, Logic and THE LAW. Because, if this country were run by Internet Commando's, there's little doubt that we'd be having this conversation from our personal jail cells.
That's why this is silly.
