Help Me Pick

Whis is best to carry?

Depends on which you prefer, auto or revolver.

With that said, my choice would be the Ruger LCR (just shot mine at the range again today). The Sig is a very nice pistol and so the Kahr,(but just a tad too heavy for me for carry). However, the Ruger LCR is very small and extremely lightweight as you mentioned. Only 5 shots but for a defensive weapon that should be enough for most close in encounters. It is accurate and recoil for such a light package is very acceptable. Plus it cost of lot less than the other two we just listed. Good luck

finding the proper carry gun is pretty much impossible. EVERYTHING is a compromise. While my PM9 is with me most of the time, and I shoot it well, I shoot my Detective Special better. Due to the width and blue finish it is harder to conceal and prevent from rapidly deteriorating in the Texas summers. In the winter time I can carry a full size gun and often cart a 686 or an XD45.

This is a verbose way to say that conditions control what you can carry. Yes, I know some claim to be able to conceal a Desert Eagle while wearing a sequined thong and doing Ty Bo on the hood of a moving car careening through traffic. I can't and carry the best gun I can considering what I am wearing at the time.

FWIW, I'd say go with the SIG. The LCR would be my 2nd pick, I liked the way it felt when I held it in the shop, but it's almost too plastic-y, if you see what i mean. The trigger is nice tho. With a set of CT grips it would make a great pocket gun. I don't think I'll ever own a Kahr, I don't like where I think their money goes.
