CW308. It's a Savage FVSS, I had SSS make me the Dog Tracker Stock in Blue.
It was my FTR rig. Which I only shot for 1 year, I had to admit that I can not shoot of a bi-pod
. You guys that can- I tip my hat to you. Takes a talent that I don't have.
Metal-
168 Serria Match- OAL- 1.207
.806 still sticking out
.401 in the case with .002 neck tension. I send my Dies and about 5 dummy rounds in to Forester, For 10 bucks they custom hone the die for you to what ever you want.
As I mentioned to CW308- It is a FVSS, I can seat out farther then 2.840, but, so far have not needed to. The barrel does have about 3000 rounds down it, but even when it was new i could seat at 2.840 with it.
This thing has pulled sub MOA since the day I got it. I have the same rig in my 223 also-FVSS. That thing is un real. We play Tic Tac Toe at 100 yards with 9MM cases. Have to shoot the primers out of them and call your shots. Golf balls at 300 yards is easy. PS I live on a Golf Course- Fairway 1 out the back door and Tee box 2 out the front. And needless to say I get about 6 to 10 golf balls a week.
We put wood screws in them , tie a string to that and hang them at 300 yards.
It's a change from just shooting paper
