Has anything you've read here at TFL changed your opinion of anything?

Just wondering.
In my case, I can say that I've learned, along with other things, the 2nd is an individual right, and not about the National Guard. Seems like I've always owned guns, but never quite grasped the importance of the public at large being armed to preserve the Republic. There's of course lots of other stuff, but I think that's really the biggie.
Anybody else?

Shoot (no pun)! I intended this for general. Can ya move it for me please?

I've learned I don't want FUD as my neighbor. :)

I've learned that all the women here send me private emails and I had to stop displaying my address so as not to break their innocent little hearts. :D

I've learned that Christians and gay boy scouts generally dont get along.

I've learned the there are a lot of ar-15 and glock freaks on this board.Wheather that is good or bad I am still not sure.

I've also concluded that I spend way too much time on this board.

And lastly I've leaned there are a lot of very decent individuals on this board, too many to list.

I've learned that there are a lot more misguided folks out there than I thought. :D

..and that oberkommando owes me $$$ for quoting him on my signature... :D

I've learnt that those on this board with the scariest "handles" are the generally the softest, nicest, most concerned people you could ever hope to talk to .... and everyone else is just as human.

I've learnt you can make friends ... real friends ... without ever meeting a person.

I've learnt TFLers care.

I've learnt that CCW is not something to fear (as I used to) but actually makes for a safer community.

I've learnt gunowners worldwide can be brothers and sisters, regardless of their backgrounds.

I've learnt I spend way too much time in this place :)

Most inportant thing I've learned: I am not alone.

My opinions on social/political issues have not changed due to TFL, but my opinions on the merits of various products have changed significantly. There's a lot of good real-world experience here.

Who's gotta "scary" handle? :D

Changed my mind? No. But certainly added breadth & depth & refinement. Like others here, I've learned a lot about guns and related laws, social issues, etc. Met lotsa nice people, interesting people, and otherwisse fine folks, and I, too, spend way too much time here. M2

the board has reenforced opinions for me, it has allowed me the opportunity to view things differently.
to further appreciate the plight of gun owners around the world.

The most important thing I have learned is that HUD is jinxed, lol......Hey hud you can get a gator hunting license, if your selected....hmmmm...fubsy.

Fud:
If its any consolation to ya...
you can move beside me ANYTIME... ;)

A man of your talent just might come in handy sometime...at the very least maybe Mr. Murphy of Murphys Law Inc. might take up residence with you and stay away from me. ;)

I was surprised to learn that even before the agreement, most TFL members did not have a high opinion of S&W pistols -- where I come from, shooters consider them to be top of the line and well able to hold their own against all others. By the way fubsy, who is this HUD character? He sounds very much like me ;)

It hasn't changed my opinion, but it has expanded my horizon re: CCW and self-defense and filled in some holes in areas in which I just have a passing interest. Narrations of real world experiences have been either eye-openers or have reinforced previous convictions.

Input from our overseas members ("foreigners" sounds too harsh for these cyber buddies) bring a different aspect to situations or correct a wrong impression - an invaluable service.

A great many things. Tfls memberdhip is very knowlegeable and extremely helpful. They have answered many unusual questions I have asked and tactfully but firmly pointed out to me where I have been wrong.

I learn something new everytime I log on.
I enjoy conversing with each and everyone.
Change my opinions? Thats hard to do with a hard headed Pennsylvania Dutchman :D But I do take a lot into consideration ;) To me everyones opinion is worth pondering.
As far as FUD moving next door,Welllllllll I
don't know....... Sure come on up if you like. May make things a little more interesting in this boring neighborhood :D
As far as Glocks and Smiths go. I always liked the Smiths I owned and would never had bought them if I didn't. Won't buy a new one because of their sellout, but show me a nice used one and we'll talk. A Glock I would never never own,a Plastic overpriced piece of #!%&*%#. But after reading here and there I bought a 27 on a whim, Made a believer out of me  Am I a Glock fanatic,No but I do like the one I own and would consider another,They have their place.
Well anyway as I often state to new members signing on, " You'll never meet a finer bunch of folks then what you will meet here"
I believe that Really do ;)
Thanks TFL for a great place to be :D

For me, the gap between the TFL reaction and support for Chris MkIV's wife (to the tune of a new gun) compared to Ms. Magazine board's condemnation of her "violence against a poor misunderstood rapist" was a proof of my initial biases.

I also hope to learn that we can unite against a common threat even if that means Christians and gay boyscouts and Satan-lovers and obnoxious imports from the USSR have to co-exist in the same cyberspace.

David Scott, “Most important thing I've learned: I am not alone.”

Amen, David! Amen!

I was sliding into self-doubt, beginning to accept the “realistic inevitability" of
globalism. Although I continued to write bushels of letters to our “leaders”, I
felt I was whistling in the wind, wasting my time and effort, and attracting
the dangerous attentions of our malevolent federal government.

Then the internet and TFL! Wow! United we stand! Patrick Henry quotes!
“Come and Take It!” And a continuing barrage of Americanism as envisioned by
our Founding Fathers! Reliable information with sources carefully
documented. Destruction of misinformation and disinformation! Detailed
discussions of viewpoints and their possible outcomes!

I was blown away by the amount of complete and accurate information
presented and by the discovery, as David Scott noted, “I am not alone!”

I second the thought of not being alone, I've learned a lot here and have always enjoyed all of the informed rational conversation that goes on here.
