Guns you would buy that will never be made

HK P7 in 45 ACP

Remington Model 7 in all of the BR series cartridges - 22BR, 6MM BR, 6.5MM BR, 7MM BR - make for some great, accurate, low recoiling varmint/predator/light big game guns

Auto 426, I was going to say the same thing! I think it might be import restrictions

I'll be the first to say a belt fed semi auto sniper/battle rifle in .50 BMG :D

A Sig P220 in 10mm.

A S&W 12-shot N-Frame .22 revolver.

A single-stack CZ compact .45 on a similar frame to the P-01.

An AR-18 in .300 AAC.

A 942 SW - meaning 9mm with a 547 type extractor.

A Glock 36 with an extended grip to give 8 round capacity without that stupid magazine design they use now and the grip slimmed down.

A redone Sharps 4 barrel derringer in 32 ACP or 32 HR mag.

A scaled up NAA mini in 32 HR - not that ugly prototype that they ditched.

A ray gun.

.50 bmg pistol

Done.

Why don't you just take your 36 upper and put it on a 30 lower?

I was thinking much the same thing or pepper box .22lr.

A full size Beretta with a steel frame.
A Ruger centerfire semiauto with a steel frame.

Sr1911 fits your criteria.

I would also love to see a MKII in 9mm. Don't know why but it sounds cool!

A 9MM ruger LCR.

A double action revolver without a lock. Would love to see Colt bring back their revolver line especially the Anaconda. Seems like the perfect venue for Freedom arms to explore.

Browning BAR in .450 Marlin or .458 Winchester. They make the BLR in .450 Marlin, so why not? 16" barrel, compensator, clever fiber-optic express sights. For CQB with dangerous game, Bigfoot, Nessie.

Ruger GP100 with a 7 chamber cylinder (there's plenty of room), 2.5" factory ported barrel and adjustable sights, in ultra-bright stainless and gorgeous real wood grips.

Ruger Redhawk in .357 Magnum with an 8 chamber cylinder (there's plenty of room), 3 inch barrel, adjustable sights, wood grips, again in ultra-bright stainless.

Stoeger, Mauser, anybody, please start making Lugers again - this time ones that work. Make new Broomhandle Mausers too. The Mitchell and Stoeger Lugers of the early 1990s were gorgeous, if somewhat unreliable.

Somebody buy Hogue and shut them down. The grips they supply to S&W and Ruger as O.E.M. are surpassingly ugly. Ugly enough to turn me off to the whole gun.

An AK47 lightweight - with polymer receiver, lightweight barrel and stock - no more than 6.5 pounds max (unloaded).

KelTec Sub 2000 or Ruger 10/22 style carbine in .357 Magnum.

If I remember my import laws correctly real Sig 550 series could technically be imported to the US, but they would have to be built in a "sporter" configuration that lacks the evil "assualt weapon" features like ability to accept high capacity mags. Once those rifles enter the US, they can be reverted back to their true form using enough US made parts to be 922r compliant.

Sig could also just build an exact copy using their manufacturing plant in the US, but they chose to go for something that looked and functioned similar but was cheaper. I can't really blame them for it, as the costs of the real 550 series as such that they would likely never sell enough commercially to turn a profit, but I can dream.

Great post! I would love to have an 8-shot .357 redhawk!

I would also love to see a gun of the Ruger MK series chambered in a "real" caliber. I would take 9mm or something really unique like a .38 special or .357 mag. Or imagine an oversized MKIII chambered for .45 colt!course the blowback would make recoil a real "B."

I would like to see Mauser do more. I want to see a pistol from them that's modern and servicible and not just a copy of a SIG (Sigsauer owns Mauser.) I would also love to see them bring back the broomhandle Mauser and Luger too. I would also love to see them produce Gewehr 98 and K98 replicas and sell them at a reasonable cost. Really I would love it if they sold anything at a reasonable cost.

That said, I would gladly buy a "Mauser" branded SIG 229 or 2022 too!

How about an LCR in 9MM? Sounds good to me.

A Glock in 7.62x25 as I have several thousand rounds of it and it just takes to long to reload all the CZ52 and Tokarev single stack mags.LOL:D
