Guns in Movie/tv trivia game part 2

fed168, thats actually what i remember thinking when i saw the movie but it was too long ago to remember. oh well i guess i'll never know (unless i see it on tv sometime).

traitorjack, in the book Hannibal, Clarice Staring carried a "well-worn Colt .45 Government Model with a strip of skateboard tape on the grip, riding in a Yaqui slide behind her right hip."

i thought it would be cool if they used the same gun in the movie since in the book they made a big deal that it wasn't one of their issued guns. also the movie won't be half as good since Jodie Foster won't be in it. she was perfect for the part in Silence of the Lambs.

also is anyone else confused why there are 2 women standing there that look exactly alike? i know one is Julianne Moore but who's the other?

kingknives, i stand corrected. its not the first time i've been wrong and won't be the last.

ok who says i have to think when i'm at home. besides its the summer and my brain switches off around now each year.

i really knew that already but i didn't want all the other people wondering the same thing to feel too embaressed to ask the question so i bravely did. :-)

just read farther back in this thread and realised I kinda jumped the gun there, not following the game rules and all that; apologies...

russell92: yeah! I remember that part of the book now, where such a big deal was made of her carrying cocked and locked "every single moment of every day" or something like that. I agree. it would have been much cooler, much more individual and old school bad-ass in a hot little package. ah well. maybe the stunt double was just showing her a few things.

George: lol! actually, if you look at the originating site, there are *two* stunt doubles. imagine, imagine, imagine that.

you can see the second double in the bushes, sort of, back to the camera, in the second picture.
