Gun store/range issue

It's a gun store not bloomingdale's

buy or gtfo, That being said. I usually tell the clerk what my intentions are. Buy or browse , well I don't really browse, that's for girls.

Actually it's more complicated shopping for a gun than shopping in Bloomingdales.

Before I buy a gun, I decide what I want. In this case I wanted to expand to .45 caliber.

I then research the guns. I then go to the gun store and pick ones that I want to see. I then rent the ones that I am interested in and try them out by shooting them, and then I make a decision.

My gun store , I go in , know most of the counter guys & we bs & such.
They are always showing me various handguns & rifles.
Some days I buy or put something on lay-a-way or jsut ask questions.
That is why they get my business.
If they are busy, the mgr. just leaves the gun \ guns with me & goes on to the next person until I'm ready with my decision purchase.
I appreciate they trust me that much ,when I have about 2-3 handguns on the counter.
I always stay at the counter because I think that is the best spot while looking at the guns.
I just make sure nobody picks up one of the gun that have been handed to me.

Elvishead- That sounds like him. He was so tight, that my mom and he were shopping one day for groceries, and my mom started to put a big package of steaks in the cart, and he stopped her, and said, "We can get it cheaper at the BX!". That would be fine, but they were on the other side of town, it was almost rush hour, and it would easily eat up the savings in gas to drive the 20 miles there and back. My mother said when she called me to come get her to move her back up here the last straw was when they drove about 40 miles in each direction to buy shoes at a buy one, get one 1/2 price sale a few towns over. She wouldn't have gotten so upset, but he insisted she come with him, even though she didn't feel well. She made some remark, and he went into the silent treatment. At that point, she decided it was over, but his family was coming up the next weekend, and they were all going to a lake cottage for 5 days and she didn't want to screw it all up. The cottage was unheated, had spiders all over it, no running water, and then on top of it, his daughter and her hubby got into a major war over the food he brought (Goat cheese and Ritz crackers! That was it!) He didn't bring anything else, so his wife had to go buy food and my mom did too, and her hubby got all upset because the place they had to go priced everything sky high! My mom spent a TON of money there, which got him even angrier, and when they went home, she called me, and told him she was done. Then he called me, and blamed me for her coming home! I asked him if he had been drinking, and said, "John, it's your skinflint nonsense that PO'ed her, and she's had enough!" He said he wasn't a cheapskate, and that none of his friends would ever call him one! I said back, "You do know that your friends are the biggest cheapskates in the whole world, and you're the big spender in your crowd, right?" He hung up. I got a nasty letter that even his daughter said was off the deep end.

People we like

I sold cars for awhile, and anyone can sell a car, a dead dog can sell a car, so what is the trick?

People by things from people they like.
That's how it works, and if you have to like been treated like trash don't complaint.

At some gun stores/ranges some clerks with gun in holsters are arrogant because people behave like dogs after a cookie.

So people say it like you mean it:
You: Do you want to sell me a gun today or do I have to go elsewhere, this is not the only rat hole with guns around here pilgrim, and before I go, get me your boss, I want to know how he does it.
Clerk: Does what?
You: Keep you so mean, I have a dog and it doesn't matter how much i kick him now I see he's not mean enough.
