Gun Control Activists set up a fake Gun Store in NY

The comments on the articles linked to above are hilarious. Reminds me of my evil sister in law who believes all guns should be banned. Then she tells stories about when she was an armed security guard...

Only government trained individuals should be allowed to have guns, blah, blah, blah...

I am taking her kids out shooting with me this afternoon. I have their fathers permission.

But I digress... It really is unsettling that people who have no idea what they are talking about have such opinions. They take what they read as gospel and run with it and if you try to "reason" with them, they resort to name calling.

Name calling is the action of a loosing party in an argument. Especially on Facebook and other social media sites...

But as all battles go, if you're not getting flak you are not near the target. So, when you start getting flak, you are right over it.

@Skans

Oh I am under no illusion that they will do anything other than try to conveniently "forget" or "turn the other direction" from this.

Heaven forbid the get a stain on their perfectly white, sin-less shirts.

The whole situation sadly has be just shaking my head. Which is why it frustrates me even more when I hear gun owners saying "what good will complaining to or contacting my reps do".

These folks are swayed only when their cushy seat is threatened. Get enough voices roaring, and typically they'll start to turn their ear towards the masses. There are a few die hard fanatics who will do what they want regardless, but we've stopped the anti' before, and we can do so again provided we all do our part.

Those opinions are from shills who are there to "shoot down" anyone who posts a pro-gun perspective. Notice how it's only several people who do most of the anti-gun commenting.

Believe me, I'm one of those voices! But, stopping an agency from taking asinine action is actually easier than getting the agency to do something that runs contrary to their overseer's interests.
