Got my Kimber back today

After about 6000 rounds of standard pressure and +P stuff, My 226 has never, and I mean NEVER failed to fire!!! All in less thatn a year.

But I wouldn't go there if I were you. While the 1911 is a great combat handgun, one of its weaknesses is small parts breakage. Few other handguns match the out-of-the box reliability of a SIG. As far as cracking frames goes, even with a cracked frame my 226 will still perform reliably, and SIG will replace it, no Questions Asked. :p

Any more questions???

Pete, *I* would go there...I have 5,000+ through one Kimber and coming up on 5,000 through another with NO parts breakage and NO jams, and I put every defensive auto I buy through a pretty tough reliability test with various brands and speeds of hollowpoints before I trust it. I have owned about two dozen 1911s and only had a part break on one, and that was an aftermarket part I put on it.

My G23 has 13,800 rounds through it without a single failure of any type.
And don't make me mention the Glock factory test guns.

Don't get me wrong, Sigs are all right, but to claim they are superior in all aspects is a stretch.
Oh, should I mention that DA/SA transition? :D

The DA/SA transition is one of practice to overcome. People who complain about it often have not taken the time to get over it. I have, and have no problems putting all shots Da or SA where I want them.

Glock is a great design, I would own several of them, but they are a poor fit in my hand. But, here we go again...

My kimber is longer than your's...you guy are really pathetic.

Now we've got you going. Does that make you pathetic as well?
And my Kimber IS much larger than your Sig. :p
You could reply, or not depending on how pathetic you feel.

Peter Gun:.. In a defensive handgun, you should not have to get over or get used to anything. It should be as user friendly as possible. Thats the beauty of the 1911 and then the next best, the Glock 21. Same trigger pull, first to last, in both the 1911 and the Glock. Both will also out last a Sig, by a large margin...7th Fleet

So Pete, we're pathetic...but you're the one who has to get his jollies by basically being a self-admitted troll? Hmmm...
