good .45 semi-auto for home defense

I'm a little biased, but...

I'd go for a Beretta Cougar DAO :D
Rotating barrel does a lot for recoil.
8-round mag, quite big for a gun 3/4 the size of a 1911
Nice an' comfy in da hand
more than accurate enuff for home defense :D
But like I said, I'm a bit biased.
 
CZ-97B of course,
if you are recoil sensitive, I think there's carbine or lever action for .45 ACP (or .44 special or .45 LC)
