Glocks accidently discharge all by themselves !

Actually, the Aussie police have two problems with accidental discharges. The first is that if you pull the trigger on a loaded Glock, it goes bang. The second is that if you put his hand down his pants, then he goes bang. The obvious correction to these problems is to have all Aussie police carry their Glocks in their crotch, so that they are more careful about where they put their fingers!

Sounds like these folks need the "Barney Fife" solution. :)

Issue them only one cartridge that MUST be kept in the shirt pocket with the flap buttoned. :)

Seriously: As with all "accidental" discharges (hate that term); rules 1 and 2 (and a few others) were routinely violated.

Rule 1: Treat every firearm as if it were loaded.

Rule 2: Never let the muzzle cover anything you aren't willing to see destroyed.

I did some more checking and the philly cop is a rookie. The are talking of letting her go since she is on probation. They are going to let her wounds heal and bounce her at 6 months. She is also only 21yrs old so i do not think philly hired her at age 17.
