30-06 its versatile and can bag anything in the lower 48, its a boyscout of bullets it can purr like a kitten or roar like a lion from 110 grains to 220.

lol or a 45 acp.

Big diameter makes for EASY SCORING (haha that was too easy)

You are all perverts.

Hey George!!! Your last post (before it was deleted) said 120mm HEAT, yet now you're 120 mm Sabot. What's up with that?

Was that because HEAT is a chemical energy round, and now you are trying to be a kinetic round instead??? Good thing nobody made the connection..... :D

.30-'06 Reliable and versatile. When used within certain constraints it can accomplish anything!

It's amazing what a large group of stupid people can accomplish.

hmmm .308 168gr BTHP. Designed for accuracy. Capable of, but not designed exclusively for, combat. Nothing exotic.

When I was in highschool, I was a .223.

In college, a .300 magnum.

Now I'm a 30-06.

I hope to be a .45/70 by retirement.

Of course, when I catch my wife smiling at me out of the corner of my eye, I'm a .50 BMG! :)

I'm on the long and skinny side, walk fast, and like old-timey stuff, so I feel like a .38 Super.

As the years pass, however, I'm gradually slowing down, and the world I'm used to is disappearing, so one of these days I'll probably become a .38 ACP. ;)

In reference to my ancestry, how 'bout a 6.5x55 Swede or maybe a .308 Norma Magnum? Any more Scandinavian rounds? Lapua?

Funny thing is I was looking closely at a Tikka rifle today at a gun show... (poor man's Sako, made in Finland, I believe)
