General silliness: what cartridge are you?

I can't think of what kind of cartridge I am, but I can say I'm kind of like a Glock, I have to be held tight and not limp wristed.

Yeh Sensop, I agree about Gunslinger being a flirting ole devil, you ought to know him, then you would understand.
:D :D :D Sensop do you ever feel like your being ate up by little green men?

I guess you could say I'm a match grade .308. ;)
I'm not too big, not too old, and since whenever I set my sights on something, I get it. Sorta' like hitting the target every time I'm aimed at it, and barriers don't slow me down or throw me off too bad. :)

Erick--

Add to that: Cutting edge, and hard-hitting.

Good to be...!

As for myself, I've had to think about this one...

How 'bout: .338 Winchester Magnum?

Big (I'm 6'5", 234lbs),
pronounced shoulder(s),
middlin' young,
generally more than you really need around here,
weight is appropriate at 250 but many prefer at 210 or 215,
inexplicable fashion sense (why the unnecessary belt?),
more at home in the mountains...

I'm sure there's more reasons, but I'll go with those.

.25acp,
yep,
has to be
the .25acp

Considered marginal at best, spotty accuracy, not too sure if there is a rim or not, expensive in comparison, often found in the company of the unsavory , and the payload is considered more noise and flash than impact, absolute last choice for anything 'cept a *throw down*, been around longer than most, been in just about every gunowners hand or pocket but most refuse to admit it, kind of the, "Oh yeah, that thing in the back of the safe-well it does make noise and throw a piece of lead"-got one, but will never say so, can be housed in flashy or trashy with equal abandon...

;) hehe, I love this topic :)

Ode to a bullet
This morning I feel like a spent catridge, definitely home grown,
not factory,
then it was 22 short, a long time ago.
I'll have my coffee,
get primed and re-charged, maybe 38 Special.
Today is a good day, goin to a gun show and maybe an RKBA rally.

Its the Yoko Ono influence!

As for trees, maybe Chalie Trie,

.375 H&H Magnum

I, too, am a pretty big guy (6'3", 270) with wide shoulders. I'm loud (just ask my wife ;)), and I always wear a belt. And I pack a pretty darn good punch, too.

Probably a .357 SIG. Short, and expands on the way down ;) But alas very deadly and swift when called upon :D

Or a 22WMR. Nobody thinks I'm anything till I hit something and they all go :eek:WOW!

I thought I'd seen it all, until a 22WMR spun a bunny 2 1/4 times in the air!

I'd have to say the Winchester 9x19, FMJ. Nothing sexy, not expensive, not exotic, very basic, but I get the job done.

Not only that, I believe the motto associated with the round:

"Si vis pachem, para bellum."
If you want peace, prepare for war.
