General silliness: what cartridge are you?

Was thinking about Baba Wawa last night, and her inane "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be" question.

Well, if *you* were a cartridge or bp load, what would *you* be?

Personally, I think I'm a .45ACP: height/weight not exactly proportionate, slow, not agile, but capable of serious damage once I finally get to where I'm going.

My gf, Cindy, says she's a .22WMR: little, harmless-looking, and completely evil if you get on her bad side.

I think I'll have to agree with the .45 for me too. Feeling too old to be zooming around like a 9mm and the thickness seems to match my middle. However I don't quite agree with my wife's inclusion of a hollow point ("You did what? What were you thinking?")

Dang Coin, when I read the topic title I jumped at this because I already knew what it would be but you beat me to it.
Fortyfive ACP. Short at 5'10", broad shouldered with a 52" chest, powerful with 19" arms......but alas considered old and some what obsolete by today's standards, yet with much more bang than a lot of the new kids...err, I mean cartridges on the market.

My ex's think of me as spent brass.

I just returned from a visit to my Doctor, and he say's I have a kidney stone, sooooo with the way I feel right now......

I guess I'm whatever cartridge they use in a starters pistol.

.50 BMG--powerful, but so damn big it's not good for much . . . . . and of course, incredubly expensive to feed . . . . .

.38-55 Ballard

Not too big. Not too small. Accurate at any distance. Knock down energy sleeper. Mix with the younger crowd: dress up in .375 Winchester. Hoho. Ride in some pretty classy vehicles (vintage single shots).

I love sleepers. Like the .45 ACP!

.40 S&W

Known as "short and weak". But relatively fast...and, strong enough, really. You just have to- ah, never mind. :o

9mm - fast and easy to get hold of! :D Or perhaps .223 - sleek and sexy? Ah, he**, I guess I have to 'fess up...I'm more .45 - fatter and slower than the young pups, but still able to deliver a wallop!

Guess I'd have to be a 44mag with wet powder. Not much poop left in the ol gesser, but used to be one hell of a hot shot.

What are my choices? LOL

Sandy at the risk of being presumptious might I suggest something in the order of the .22-250, .223 or .243.
Sleek, quick and deseptively lethal if called upon to be. All housed in an attractive sexy casing. :)

Now THIS is a question I wouldn't mind being asked on a job interview! ;)

Hmmm... I'm not young, but not ancient. I can be fairly conservative and curmudgeonly, but can adapt and be pretty flexible if the need arises (a learned trait - been married for 23 years to a woman smarter than I (she says I'M the smart one, but I know better :-) and who is just as strong willed...)

I'm also flexible enough to touch my palms to the floor with knees locked. ;)

Color me .30-06

Cliff

Not for the same reasons as Cliff....but these days I'm a feeling 30.06

DC, when I read Coin's orignal thread I immediately thought of you (imagine that :D). I was definately not thinking .30-06. The venerable '06 while durable and well repected lacks charm, elegance, sofistication and sheer sex appeal.
You are more of the .25-06 type. ;)
