Just one note though. Heineken is a much better beer than Shiner Bach. Too bad most of the bars that have it on tap, don't sell enough of it to get the rapid turn over it requires. Heineken does not have a lot of preservatives, so it will skunk. Unlike Budweiser which is skunked from the get-go by all the preservatives.

The editorial from Salon linked below was quoted in one of the gun mags recently. I heartily agreee. Any class of people who are likely to find themselves "targets" -- gays, minorities, women, convenience store clerks -- ought to be pushing self-defense.

Best check the laws concerning carry in an establishment that serves liquor, and the use of deadly force in your area. You don't say where you are from, but from my limited knowledge (gained mostly in here) of different CCW laws, most make it a felony. Tough choice to decide whether a felony conviction and all it entails is worth it. I'm a bit surprised that others didn't point that out.
