This past fall, this rumor was being passed by the internet in the Washington, DC area.
According to the Washington Post, a DC police officer got the intial email warning and passed it on to everyone. The FBI when questioned said "Oh, not that story again"
Todate, know one knows of a recorded case of this actually happening.
Of course, this won't prevent some of our "high-brow" BGs from copycating after they hear about it. Best advice: don't help spreading it around!
