Full Size Concealed Carry??

Does anyone conceal carry a full size handgun

When I first started carrying it was always a compact. Then I got concerned about trying to defend myself with a small 9mm. Now it's always a full size 40 caliber. I sometimes carry a small 9mm as a BUG.

It is not difficult to carry a full size gun. For the majority of the year I'm carrying IWB under an oversize t shirt. You get used to the size very quickly. Now I feel weird if that weight isn't on my hip. It's an all steel CZ 40-P BTW.

Carried a Glock 23, S&W 1911 Government and a Glock 30 (current carry gun). With a good belt, good loose shirt and good holster, no problem!!!

Don't know how big a Glock 22 is, but I usually carry a Colt Commander but will often carry my Colt Series 80 Government Model exactly like this one (picture stolen from someone else who stole it before me, I don't have a good picture of mine):

I also have some other stuff for different occasions, some smaller, some larger.

They're all good.

Best,

Will

Full Sized USP 45

I used to carry (OC and CC) an H&K USP 45. That's a slab of steel, but it sure is accurate. I got rid of it because I already have back problems and wearing that thing all day long (12+ hours) was not very healthy. I sold it and got a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II. I also have a Ruger LCR-357 as a BUG. I love them both.

I ONLY carry full sized

About 99% of the time I carry, I carry full sized. Funny you mention Glock 22 cause that's my main carry. 2nd generation in a nameless IWB holster at 1:00 if not that then I'm carrying the 1911 in a Harfner? Of Hefner? Forgot the name exactly...also at 1:00.

The reason why is because nothing feels better to me than a full sized handgun, and 15+1 in my .40 Glock 22 beats anything..You never know if you may need all the bullets the more the better in ANY situation, it's better to be safe than sorry and if you physically can carry a full sized then you should. If you can't then it's fine. Again, not saying you need all that ammo..But a lot of people don't really know from experience. 15 rounds can go by really fast under stress.

So yes, full sized is my style.
