Free 14 day offer - Weapon Shield CLP

Good to see you back, George. :) TFL was the first internet gun forum I joined, and still the best place around.

I've been offline for quite awhile, and recently tried to locate you through "others" with no luck. I hope the new venture works out great for you, George. Glad to see you're driving on.

Guys, if Weapon Shield is better than FP-10 CLP, then we're all in luck. I've been wanting to do some more testing and reviews as I still have lots of other products lying around, so when I get time I'll get some ordered and try it out and post the results.

Welcome back to you too my friend. Just sent you a pm. You, more than anyone knows my agenda; which is to bring the best of the best to everyone, and most importantly to our LE Offices and Soldiers. As I always said:

"Reliability is our first concern...there is no room for weapon
dysfunction when officers and soldiers lives are on the line."

And that's a fact.

Best regards,
George

I have a question. Suppose this stuff is good and we like it. Will we be able to buy it by the quart/1/2 gal/gal?

Break free is good, but I always hated them for doling it out in teeney over priced bottles...

Sizes

Hi Edward!
No worries. Weapon Shield is available in the following sizes:

1 ounce
4 ounce
16 ounce
1 Gallon
5 Gallon
55 Gallons

Anything over 16 ounces is not listed as a direct order item on the website, BUT we have posted our 800 toll free number there for that specific purpose.

Best regards,
George

Sounds good George.

I linked to your site and found a lot of it unreadable because the text is overlapping for some reason. Dunno if its my system or your site? I'm running Windows XP if that makes a difference. Anyone else experiancing this on his site?

Hmmmm

I've heard it from a very few Ed. I believe that it occurs with each individuals browser and resolution setting. Try changing your res to 1024x768 or greater. Also, I suggest using MSIE. Some folks may use Mozillia Firefox, Opera, AOL, or another browser which may have something to do with it. Sorry for the inconvieniance. We're looking at redoing it all in an xmls compatible format as well. That may help.

Best regards,
George

Thanks for the quick shipment. I received my package of Weapon Shield today. I will have to go dirty up the guns this weekend to try it out.

I'm not George, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once...:D

Weapon Shield is a CLP (cleaner, lubricant, protectant).

For heavy fouling, copper fouling in rifles, or established corrosion a single use product may be in order.

For serious copper fouling I prefer Kroil and JB Bore Compound or Remington's bore cleaner. Shooter's Choice bore cleaner and copper remover is also great.

Flitz polish works wonders to remove tarnish and surface rust.

For regular PM (preventative maintenence) I prefer CLP type products as they will do everything you need them to, and do it very well if you choose a good one. If Weapon Shield is better than FP-10 then we're in bidness

My experience with PM is pretty much the same as instructor Pat Rogers. Folks worry too much about getting that last bit of carbon residue or copper out of the gun, then apply just enough lube to cover a gnat's ass - and then wonder why the thing won't run through 100 rounds without a malfunction.

For weapons like Glock's, CLP is all you need. I fired 40,000 rounds through two Glock 23's, and carried them for four years, and I used only FP-10 CLP. Every couple thousand rounds I did a detail strip, but still just used FP-10. My Kimber 1911 and Taurus M85 also saw only FP-10.

Smells ok , I cleaned and lubed 3 handguns with it today (1911,babyDE,608Taurus) and a Marlin 60 which had lube issues befor
I thought because its a free sample it would be in some cheap hard to use container, I was surprised to find a regular bottle
As soon as they get dirty Ill let ya know
