First acquisition of 2012?

I bought mine at Buds, couldnt fine one with the wood grips in town, Didnt care for the G10 grips at all. Ive read some mixed reviews on it but not too worried.

I have about 4000 rounds thru mine and i think i had one stove pipe issue with it when i was shooting with my left hand vs right. its a great gun and a good purchase.

I picked up a nice Ruger LCR in 38cpl. I had $170 in gift cards from Cabelas burning a hole in my pocket I got for Christmas and I put them towards it.

i love the pa cabela's i road trip to there every few weeks to spend an afternoon in the mens macys. my kid is addicted to the fish and the animal hall there.

Thanks 3Kgt. Have wed off so plan to run some rounds thru it wed afternoon. Have a nice stock of 9's to get into. A couple of hours at the range will be make it a nice day off.

i decided i would go shooting tomorrow after spending some of my work day today on the forum. think tomorrow will be a ww2 luger and the springfield trp

My first acquisition of 2012 was a 1957 Python. I sent it off to Colt for refinishing (it needed it!) - I'll post before and after pictures when I get it back.

This year is starting off badly,,,

Right after this New Year of 2012 started,,,
I purchased a Beretta NEOS Carbine kit, just for the heck of it,,,
Now The carbine configuration is quickly becoming my favorite plinker.

Changing the barrels on a NEOS pistol is a breeze,,,
It only takes about 60 seconds to do,,,
Not so easy changing the receiver.

So I just this lunch break went and visited my Evil Pawn Shop Guy,,,
We ordered me a 4.5" NEOS pistol so I can leave one receiver in carbine mode,,,
I'll leave the new receiver in 4.5" pistol mode and have a 6" barrel with a Reflex Sight in the case.

I hope I can peddle the 2nd 4.5" barrel to someone on this forum,,,
I know there was someone who wanted one but all the 2nd market dealers were out of stock.

And if that wasn't extravagant enough,,,
I just made an offer to an acquaintance on a Mossberg 340K in .22 LR,,,
And a very well maintained Winchester Model 52A Heavy Barrel Target Rifle in .22 LR.

If he accepts my offer I will already have spent over 1/3 of my projected gun money for the year. :o

I think I need professional help. :o
